Hit start, settings, connection tab, hit connections icon, hit proxy server settings, make sure that box labeled "this network uses a proxy server" is NOT checked, this box must be unchecked in order to connect via wi-fi.

I do not know anyone who has gotten back a rebate from wirefly, which includes 3 of my friends whom thought they were going to get a free RAZR after the $200 rebate they never received! They did all get their phones though, so I guess in a way they didn't get ripped off but just keep in mind when dealing with on-line dealers that whatever you pay for the phone up front is what you will pay for ...

Motorola SLVR with iTunes
I just got some POP material at my Cingular store for the Motorola SLVR with iTunes. I have Brochures, a floor display, the whole 9.
But there is nothing on the CSP about the launch and I haven't heard a thing about it, I feel especially neglected by phone scoop if I hear of something first it is usualy on here.

I do know from previous experience that Pioneer audio has a "special" line of products that are distributed at Wal-Mart. I am assuming they are manufactured to wally world specs which means cheap parts + cheap labor= cheap product. I do wonder how many companies have sub-par manufacturing for products sold at Wal-Mart stores.

I had a guy say to me tonight, you should have a cell phone class where you could teach people how to add numbers in their phone books and how to change the settings, you could charge like $10 a person. Then I said the worst thing anyone could possibly say in that situation, "sir, we offer that service for free", what was I thinkin he was there for an hour and a half! I had a similar situation, a girl came in and I ran her credit, it wouldn't update so I called it in, the analyst told me the girl still owed $300 on an old account. I informed the customer of this and she said, but I can still get the phone right? I said maybe with a substantial deposit after the old ccount is paid off. She loudly exclaimed; What! That was like 3 years ago! Freakin IDIOT!

I have a guy who comes in at least once a week, sometimes two or three times to activate a new GoPhone. He lives in a Hispanic area so I am thinking he is just reselling them, either that or he is in a really shady "business". Anyone have any theories or similar experiences?
