Re: No Keyboard? And You Call This a BlackBerry?
I concur.
Re: Blackberry Storm Accessories
nope. Storm uses the micro usb; pearl uses the mini usb.
Re: source for 70 mil users
o, and for sources, they were hard to find....google and "3rd quarter results 2008 ____insert company name here"
It's amazing what the internet can provide....

Re: No we don't have holiday minutes...
verizon has that option to listen to, but you can get past it easily.
Re: So.......is that it?
and ALL those're coming out prior to '09? I would like to see the rebate pads....
BUT HE KNEW!!!!!!!(except for that little part bout him NOT knowing.....)
awww, so sorry, too bad. I'll look for that tomorrow in an official release. Nod to cwcanty for being gracious toward conjecture.
Re: canada question
you can look up coverage here http://www.bell.ca/support/PrsCSrvWls_Cvg_Tra vel.page
she will not need a world phone.
The prices for current basic family plans that include coverage in canada are $20 a month above what a consumer would pay for a plan covering the USA.
Best of luck as you decide which service would be the cheapest.
Re: Verizon No Longer Offering Instant Rebates Online...
I'm with ya :). totally worth it for me; as a consumer, yea, it still kinda sucks, but when they streamlined the process in feb/march, that helped alot.
Re: Verizon's Month to Month Plan...
eh, you're prolly right....I don't plan on being in cell phones too much longer, so it won't affect me much :)
Re: Verizon's Month to Month Plan...
same plans, retail cost of phones, deposits still applicable, I believe....
basically another feather in the hat of the "most open" network. Not something that alot of people will take advantage of; reps still have 180 day chargeback on the minimal commissions from the plans.
Re: Verizon's Month to Month Plan...
yes :D
# to call is 1-800-321-8361, but usually get ans. machine
least that's what I've experienced. Still no word.
Re: please teach customers about there phones!
good luck. The general population is getting dumberer by the minute.
Re: WTF!!!!
sooooo, you enabled stupidity.
I'm not a call center rep, so I can't speak to what horrors y'all go through on a daily basis, so don't spike me on that.
All I can relte to is the stupidity enabling; I make it a point to go over fees, and if the cust is too stupid to understand, they're too stupid. Either way, IMO, you made it 100 times harder on the next rep he calls when he gets ...
Re: Any news on Samsung i770 and Treo 800w for Verizon?
doubt that, the treo pro (800w) is at Sprint, and Sprint has a 6 month exclusive contract with Palm. No dice for a little while on that, and the predecessor to the i760, the i730, was out for long time prior to the 760 coming around. Windows smartphones for Verizon aren't a hot commodity right now; I'm seeing mostly BB's go out the door.
Re: Insurance question...
I would go with answer #2.
wondered that myself, actually
and no, I've not sought out the correct answer, b/c, as my friend up there has said, all sources are certain about their version. which may or may not be true; they don't care, b/c you couldn't get the same person on the phone again calling either company unless your luck is AMAZING. or unless your # has been flagged, and they route you back.
Re: Insurance question...
Yes.
No. :D
Re: Yayyyy for Samsung Rewards...
nevermind, the website spelled it out. phooey on samsung, why didn't they trust us?
Re: anyone work for verizon on an employee plan?
uhm, I had to wait over 3 wks for mine. fun times at the indirect with acct managers that REALLY don't care bout their employees
Re: Yayyyy for Samsung Rewards...
anyone seen where to redeem points? Haven't seen a link for that, but I haven't been keeping up with it really; have had to re-log in after every submission too.
Re: Funny but True... (long)...now even longer
I woulda bought from you; I've done that exact thing before, but with different results. They left. Kudos to you for saying what most reps think.
Re: samsung rewards site down......
when you least expect.
Re: Anyone know of a calcualtor for taxes and shuch?
usually 12-17%, depends on the state you're in. there are lotsa ways to do it, I usually enter the calling plan total, then multiply by 1.12 or whatever you feel like for the taxes. hope that helps!
Re: Disappointed with the Boulder
more details, pls, anything else bout the phone that you didn't like?
Re: co-worker issue...
the same thing, beat him at his own game? if ya can't beat 'em, join 'em. not the most ethical thing to do, but when/if he whines about it, turn it back to him and tell him that's what he's been doing to the rest of ya.
Re: Need info on FRU devices!!!
you were surprised? most reps know ONLY enough to ring up the devices, no more. those that answer the phones sometimes just do that... I've had numerous time calling as a "custie" asking for information, and most of the time have had to spell out slowly what it was I was after, even tho I'm indirect, and sell the same stuff.
Re: Teakers Suck!!!
so, no return? after he messed up the phone, no possibility for a return. what is the chargeback period for RS, like 30 days? too bad for that, you still got paid.
Re: nope
spiffy; I grew up in MT. sucks that the "gifts" are actually coming directly from you, sorry to hear that!
Re: does it strike anyone else as incredibly frustrating
do you work for radio shack?
Re: VZW air card package gripe.
hey, as we were told, the $200 plan is a retention only plan. I WISH we could aggressively market this, this fiasco would get us lynched in a new york minute. the absurdity of it all is classic, and exactly what VZW has gotten away with in the past. Least they lowered their overages from .50 to .25 across the board. still sucks for people who are abusing it tho. and all those stinkin' ...
Re: phone book transfers
if they didn't buy from us, it's $10. we can do pics as well, and my managers say and EXTRA $10 for that, so.... $20 for pics and contacts. that raises a few eyebrows/voices. I recently switched markets, tho, and my new market has alot more CS, and since there's a stiff competition between the stores, I don't charge nearly as often as I would in my other market, just to differentiate my stores from others.
Re: Question for VZW Indirect reps...
I've definitely had this problem. They say there needs to be a trouble ticket written up for it, but with the "success" of other trouble tickets, and the limited nature of our communication with those that can actually help, it's not really worth it
Re: Moto W755 and Get It Now?
depending on the region, my account manager sent out a notice this morn that GIN was down, and some wireless sync issues were being reported. prolly not the exact answer, but similar, hopefully.
Re: Alltel and VZW Agents, What is in it for us Alltel Agents Merging In?
not to rock the boat being built, but one thing is alltell will TRULY have nation-wide coverage and service. that's a huge plus.
my two cents? My Circle is going away; as well as any extended nights alltell had. I do think that those currently on those plans will be grandfathered in, but when their phones break, they will be forced, just as AT&T custies were back in the day, over to Big Red's side ...
retail.samsungrewards.com
you could try retail.samsungrewards.com, which is the linked website to yours there.... I use is as well, and haven't had a problem ever
did not work....
so, yea.
Re: Do a master reset.
did not work; the master reset is device inspecific, correct? I have the vzw centro...
Re: resetting the language on the centro
I meant to say that when I booted it up initially to look at it, it set the language to spanish, and I can't find the language option in preferences.
