Teakers Suck!!!
Never my friends, I repeat NEVERsell a phone to a tweaker!!! This guy came into my store and seemed kinda...off. He wanted to check his credit for ATT, and I didn't wanna be a complete dick and refuse service because he seemed like he was from the wrong side of the tracks. As luck would have it, he qualified $ wanted a black jack 2. He also wanted ATTs unlimited minute plan and the pda unlimited, and messg. unlimited. Which equates to a 60 dollar commision at radioshack (Gotta love atts triple spiff...sprint should catch on) Well, after johnny tweaker left the store, I went on with my merry little week.

yeah.. we have a guy that comes in like that ALL the time. dude paces around the store the entire time he's here and just talks and talks and talks .. it's kinda scary cause he loses his temper like every time he's here.
doesn't beat the guy i have back in GA who is on so many pain killers he can't even form a complete sentence.. yet drives himself around and carries a concealed weapon.. which he did not hesitate to reference when i refused a return for a valid reason. needless to say, he's not allowed in the store anymore.

Those are fun. The last store I was at, I had a few guys who were incredibly smelly, and couldn't put together complete sentences. We had to be rather harsh at that store...just to protect our own integrity. Things are WAY different at a mall store...we actually have to have McDonalds-like customer service. But I did kinda lose it with that tweaker...lol

I get a few of them up here, mostly they try to gank cheap accessories off my shelves to sell to their dealers for a hit or something or either they are just high and think stealing a car charger sounds like fun. I dont mind selling to them cause if they come back wanting to return soemthing they have destroyed i just smile laugh and tell them to beat feet. if they dont i start to dial the local police, hell couple of bored cops beating down on a tweaker in my parking lot, can you say popcorn soda and a comfy desk chair entertainment til they drive off down the road.

I was at my buddy's shop waiting for my sisters car to get finished with some repairs. Some tweaker was asking us to help him push this completely destroyed mustang 5.0 half a mile down the road in rush hour traffic. After relentless **** talking to some other shops, the cops were called. When they roll up, he takes off like a banshee. They catch him and jim brown his ass. It was hallerious. Definately made my day.

Why do you start with small text and then move up to a size 18 bold? Wtf is up with that? Who is the one tweeking? Tweekers get things done quickly and efficiently. I disagree. I have sold to amphetamine addicts in record time.
And while we're at it what's with this whole attitude of 'well if I FEEL like running a credit check'. ****ing radioshack. I take it you don't work for sc kiosks or their mall outlets since they deal with cell phones all day. You on the other hand deal with cell phones for 10 minutes, then stereos, cheap tvs and guitar hero 3 the rest of the day.

The best lady I ever had....
I was almost done with a sale for this lady, getting ready to do a phone book transfer and I look up to two cops next to her. Turns out she had stolen from the grocery store my kiosk is in and wasn't allowed on the property anymore, the officers politely asked how much longer I would be, let me finished and then escorted her and her new phone out of the store.
Good times 🙂

We had this guy come in one time, total old school skater punk. His phone wasn't working right, so I took a look at it, decided that we would exchange it in store. Everything went smoothly, and he leaves. The customer comes back a few hours later and askes if we could get his pictures transfered from his old phone to his new one, no problem because it has a SD card slot on it. Turns out, much to our dismay, that this guy has a scat fetish. Talk about disturbing.

Yep...I did still get paid. It was just frustrating as all hell. The store's been on fire, so albeit it was a 60 dollar commission (that foo bought EVERYTHING, and ATT pays us triple for bolt on spiffs) It didn't seem a bad idea at the time...it takes alot to throw me over the edge, especially after the last store I worked at, but when I go over...well, you all know what it's like. I threw this out there too, to hear everyone elses crazy cracked out customer stories. I've got pleanty, this one was just recent enough to explain in detail. Word of advice to all...don't come to stockton

noooooot really. franchise stores maybe, but not corporate rs. People have cancelled after the 30 day period numerous times, and not once has it ever come out of my spiffs. Sorry to dissapoint you

Lol. Nice. I work at RadioShack as a manager and I have a rule in my store. Not credit cards or credit checks for tweakers. Before I got promoted I had this one tweaker who came in and talked with the employees and she had her information and wanted 5 AT&T phones. Her credit came by fine. A few months later she said she hated AT&T and wanted Sprint. So I got her 5 Sprint phones. Of course her information is stolen.
Then just a few months ago I had another tweaker who came in and wanted a RadioShack Credit Card and I looked at her information and it seemed ok. I sold her a Virgin Mobile phone and an Ipod. She went to a store in the next city which also happens to be our District Office and another DM was there and asked to see her ...
