Anywho heres how it went.

Me: Sir I'm sorry that your phone has been acting up. I don't believe (carrier) did it inentionally.

I finally think we're getting somewhere and then this happens (which of course happens to most of us at some point):
Me: So do you have any more questions or can we start setting you up?
C: Well I saw it online for this price (ridiculously low price from wirefly or something), I can get that here right?

my coworker N I were just talking when some big guy power walked his ass up to us yelling about having to pay full price for another phone since he lost his, didnt have insurance, and did not qualify for the upgrade...
"ive been with you guys for XX yrs yall should be giving me a free phone!"
my coworker and I let his ass have it ... very blunt. We ended up arguing back and forth but by the end of it all he extended a job offer to us both 🤣
