Thank God I am finally out of the wireless industry. I will never return to it, nor do I have the desire to do anything within the wireless industryever again. Man I hated that job. I hated all the ignorant people who pissed me off night after night. I hated having to stay 2 extra hours after closing because people would pile in there at 5 minutes until close. I am glad I can finally relax, not have to ...

I have officially put in my two weeks and I am going to go re-enroll in school in May. I am going to take the next 6 weeks off to get my attitude back in check, rekindle my relationship with my loving fiance, and get registered for school. I am going to go back to school to be a history teacher and I am really excited. To all who replied on the advice threat I appreciate it. The last ...

Yah we usually just sat around. twittled our thumbs, played on the internet, or ate some food. Now don't get me wrong, we tried to make sales, but you know no one goes to Sam's to get a phone. It's just a coincidence that we are there and someone sees us and notices we have a better price. I can remember times where we would leave and put a sign in sheet at the desk for people to leave ...

I never really had much of an opionion of Radioshack before I worked for them in the wireless kiosk at Sam's Club. I rarely went there, as a matter of fact the only time I ever remember going to Radioshack was to get one of those little wireless remote control mini-cars. I had my interview. They said to me "you are going to make so much money you won't know what to do with it!!!" I was like WOW ...

I heard on the radio back in the summer if you go to the drug store and buy a Johnson & Johnson brand anal thermometer, and you open the box and read the little pamplet it comes with, you will notice the line "Johnson & Johnson tests each of its anal brand thermometers personally>"

Dude you speak for me almost everytime you post something. No you can't get another phone because its out of warranty. It DOES NOT MATTER how many times you swap out within a year! If that were the case you could get a free phone for the rest of your life. No I WILL NOT meet you in the parking lot with a used car charger and let you give me $10 to put in my pocket. I still don't understand this one exactly. Now if you read my previous post, you will know I am bitter and fed up with my job. This has nothing to do with that and does not make me mad. But heres the scenario. 50% of the time when I upgrade a customer's equipment they ask the question "Can I keep my same number?" What in the world makes them think that they have to get a new number if ...

You sound like you worked for SC Kiosks or Radioshack. I used to work for them, and we got the same treatment. If you didn't make your quota you were fired, but I never seemed to get fired and I was missing quota by quite a bit all the time. Out of 3 employees when I worked for them, we ended up with about probably 10-15 phone a piece with a 40 phone quota

I have 98% decided to go back to school and become an educator. I want to teach history. I think teaching kids, and giving them a good example to live by will make a huge difference in their lives and make me feel very fulfilled. I know school systems aren't always the best, but maybe by the way I act around the kids, you know to be "cool" will help make everyone happy. My fiance and I decided that ...

Yes the general job is getting me down. Nice customers say I could sell anything I wanted to anyone because I'm persuasive, but honest in all areas of the sale. I don't doubt myself as a salesman. I don't doubt that I can continue to meet and exceed quota, because I have done that while being bitter all this time. I remember when I used to be so happy and full of life. Definately not my co-workers or quotas. I meet or exceed my quotas every month that I have worked for this company. I have had some issues with my upper authority that has made me bitter, but I am a forgiving person and I have let that go. Although I am almost afraid to call in sick now, but thats another story. I really feel that its kind of boarderline between customers who constantly scream and yell over nothing (never ...

I used to live in Jackson, TN and the years that I lived there I always knew never to go to the mall after dark. I mean the mall was in a somewhat decent part of town, not too much crime around there. After dark all the thugs and hoodlum kids would come out, block all the enterances to the mall doors and just about prevent you from getting inside. Definately not comfortable if you feel intimidated by kids ...

I would expect nothin but the WORST from the Shack. As a matter of fact I worked for SC Kiosks (Radioshack owns kiosks in most of the Sam's Club locations in the US). We carried Cing, TMO, and Sprint. I tell you that it was the most unprofessional environment out there. I was just wondering, I recieved a Nokia 3155 dummy phone and noticed it had a smaller port than the usual Nokia charging ports. I havent seen the 6235, but I did noticed that there was a different charger for it on some websites and was wondering if it would have the smaller charging port just like the 3155. Anyone know? What about games on this phone? Are there any?

How does it compare in size to say the 6015? Is it smaller than that? I remember when I worked for a certain kiosk that had multiple carriers we had a very small nokia around november/december before it sold out. It was a Cingular phone. Wonder if it is that size.

How will it compare with the 6255 flip? I know that the camera and video are the same quality. But what about other features. What games come on this bad boy? And is it as small and thin as it looks?

We always hear the negative about customers and bad situations on here. Let's hear some bad stories that ended up turning out good in the end!!!! As I was thinking back to my previous job with Sam's Club Kiosks I thought about one particular elderly lady who had me scared to death! From playing with the KX5 Remix and the 6255i in the store, I lean more toward the 6255i. We have so many accessories for the Slider Remix but with no use. There is an Alienware game controller but the game has brick attack and Race 21...a music doc with no speakers. Makes no sence. Now the camera quality. im not sure if we are going to be getting the CDMA RAZR phone as we have pulled all sales of Mot. in the memphis area due to the charging ports and all the problems we have had. By the way, does your phone have a zoom on the camera? Mine does but everyone else in another forum says it does not.

I duno if there is a differnce in the 6255 and the 6255i....I also know there is a 6255i CS model which I know was made for us...now the phone does have a zoom if you are in the camera feature and press the up button to zoom in and down to zoom back out. I don't know if there is a variation. But the Cellular South phones do have the zoom.
