Considering most consumers do not know what Bluetooth is, I don't see why it wouldn't compete.

If only one thing can beat the KX5 it is this; REALIABLITY

Now as far as the other features go, I'd say that the Nokia's are built better and since Nokia's been at it for many many years they have quite the expertise in mastering a wireless phone. So yah the 6255 beats the KX5 slider remix hands down.

And you know this because you have tested the KX5? 🙄

Thanks for your "opinion".

I used the 6255 for about 6 months before I got the kx5. In my opinion the nokia is a waaaaaay better phone. You can assign full length songs as ringtones in any format, the camera is tons better especially at night(even though the kx5 is a 1.3mp size to me doesnt matter, its the quality), memory card is easier to navigate through, bluetooth is easier to use with the Nokia, you can send and recieve files through bluetooth or infared which the slider is locked and doesnt have IR, and the phones OS is alot faster. Now things that the slider wins in is build quality( I've seen several nokias come back with cracked hinges though mine was abused and nver cracked), and overall design looks better. I hated nokia for the longest time but after g...

And not to mention the stereo headset they give with it is crap. Nokias headset has the sound quality of premium earbuds.

umm...i dont agree. my dad got the nokia couple months ago and i just got the slider with us cellular...i love his nokia but the pic camera is waaaaay better in the slider than the nokia. the slider has a big screen and the pics are used as caller id are bigger than the pic caller id on the nokia. nokia's are reliable and long lasting...but i also love my slider...the only thing that the slider lacks that the nokia has is a radio. other than that...both are really great phones.

don't be so quick to put down the consumer... most people are educated in bluetooth and other features and software associated with cell phone.

The LCD on the Slider Remix wins hands down.
I have the KOI and its so user friendly. The Camera and Video are better on the Slider Remix. I would say the Nokia has a better battery and a better signal strenth. This is my opinion though.

From playing with the KX5 Remix and the 6255i in the store, I lean more toward the 6255i. We have so many accessories for the Slider Remix but with no use. There is an Alienware game controller but the game has brick attack and Race 21...a music doc with no speakers. Makes no sence. Now the camera quality. I have taken a picture of the same item with the Slider Remix and also the 6255...The pic quality on High resolution beats the 1024x786 (1.3MP) on the Kyocera....however in video mode the Slider beats the 6255 hands down. The video quality is immaculate on the slider. It is very clear and smooth in viewing. However, I love the quality of the Nokia hands down.

I think so...I have had a chance to play with both phones too....

1) Reception - about even. Both the companies make phones with great reception.

2)Screen - No competition here, honestly. The KX5 is MUCH more crisp with greater color clarity and resolution. If you put he two side by side, it is not even close in this regard. The screen on the 6255i is disappointing.

3)Tactile aspects and usability - The 6255i is a large thick phone. It is a man's phone - no two ways about it. The KX5 is more friendly size. however the 6255i has a better keypad.the 6255 is at least one size larger.

4)Camera - I think the KX5 has an edge here. Much better in video mode than the 6255i.

5)Features - The 6255i is the only one with Bluetooth. Both o...

The kyo headset get staticy if the phone is on the other side of your body lol. The design stays on the ear better than the HS820 or the H500 but I dont prefer the design. Out of the nokia, kyo and moto headsets I like the motos the best.
