i am getting a new every two upgrade on the fourth of October.
my brother has verizon as well and not long ago his phone took a dive into a pond. it works but is buggy.
i got an add in the mail saying that if you buy the new samsung fascinate. you get any other phone free..[of equal value of course.]
also you would half to re-sigh a new two year.
so i was wondering. can i buy the samsung then ...

so it's been a long while since i used my new evey two which i was reminded by verizon i am eligible for that upgrade on October 4th.
perfect timing since my blackberry storm first generation has a cracked screen and MANY glitches,and i pretty much hate it.
i am sure i am going for the droid x. my question is two part.

i wrote awhile ago about how a few weeks back i called customer service and asked full retail for the droid.....i just used my new every two in feb. so was ready to pay full retail....she suddenly starts offering me a one year contract price on the droid. saying it wouldn't cost me more than 290 for the droid.....now I'm reading about them upping etf fees on the 15th?
is this not them changing the terms of the contract ...

hey agent , you seem to be in the know. if my new every two was used last feb..on a crappy blackberry touch...how much should i be prepared to spend on the droid on the sixth...{the last girl on customer service said about two to three hundred but i think you said that did not sound right or something.} just want to know so i have the money ready!!!!!

OK now I'm confused. i want that damn droid. called 611 and got customer service rep. i said i was bitting the bullet and paying full price for droid. i asked her how much that would be. she looked up my account and noted i got my new every two last February, THEN she said what she could do was have me resign with a one year contract..thereby getting fifty off full retail price.
she used my blackberry ...

first off i don't use facebook or my space. second if your upset by the question don't answer. now as for you "car" analogy. if you bought a new car and it was promised to be the best..speed,gas mileage..etc..all you may need is a free tune up "update" ad all will be well. now if you got that tune up and the car was still crap, then got another and still crap again...you would not be ...

so TWICE EACH, i have loaded cnn.com as a bookmark that's supposed to appear now as a option on my hone screen. the thing said it was complete..but there is Nada on my phone to indicate it is there.
so , i thought i would download myspace from the apps page. it again downloaded but is nowhere to be found on my home screen!!!!

so was the my local verizon store at the mall, getting my blackberry storm courtesy of my new every two...
it was pretty desolate. the woman programming my phone took me to a side office as she was having some problems with the main computer.
there was one other sales rep n the floor from where i could see, then this guy walked in.
did not look,like an employee. he goes" how are the Motorola's working out?"
the sales rep shrugged ...

to answer your questions. i would love to use my phone to e-mail. but i have never owned a blackberry type device before, so i'm not sure what the learning curve is on that type of phone.
i have a lg {the tv phone the one that screen flips into a t shape..forgetting the model number} i want a higher rez camera..{2.0 or more is cool}..a touchscreen..and real [html i think?] Internet.

so. went to a verizon store-today. i read about alto of these phones all the time but i finally got to see some of the most popular and play with them.
the dare was a surprise. i did not expect it to be that big of a screen in person or so light! the pictures do not do the phone justice. plus, the touch interface worked really well! no lag that i saw.
then there was the blackberry Storm which ...

i just received this promotion in the mail called verzion's loyalty credit? if i understand right it says i get fifty off any new phone i might wanna upgrade to, if of course i sign for another 2 years. i have not had a problem with verizon so i would do it.

i am switching from a 39.99 a month plan to one the will up my monthly bill to about sixty a month. a friend told me that now i will be eligible for a upgraded phone discount every year. but at only fifty off instead of new every two's hundred off. so is this true. I'm not planning on switching phones soon but still would like to know. {voyager does look pretty sweet!} any info would be great!

just checked out the lg vx 9400. i was looking at it in the store and i played the tv.....AND IT WAS HORRIBLE! it stopped every few seconds [and no i know was not using vcast clips I'm talking about the live tv here.]
now ever review i have read has said it was near perfect? was it cause it was in the store and maybe a bad signal?
