forgive me if i sound out of the loop on all this but I'm not as savy a phone person as most of you seem to be.
but.. last night i went with my girlfriend to t-mobile..{she has them} she needed something done to her phone so i tagged along cause i love to look at gadgets and mess with them. i was shocked that there were at least five phones that had a 3.2 mega pixel cam..and 2that had a FIVE MEGAPIXEL camera. so where are these for verizon? i know there are a few phones with the 3.2....but i know of none that have a higher resolution than that. can we expect to see a 5.0 camera phone or higher in the near future..anyone heard of anything.

The samsung omina is coming soon, Not sure on dates yet, but its a full touch, 5.0mega pixel camaera. And I beleive its windows mobile office...

You can make the camera as big as you want, but if the lens is still a pinhole, all you are doing is paying more money.

Agreed, I never understood this fetish with cameras as deal breakers on phones. Ok nice to use it now and then for a quick snap, but nothing serious. But to complain about an otherwise really good phone and bitch the camera isn't 5 mpixels or 3.2 mpixels and its only 2 and its a deal breaker is nuts.

...because Verizon cares more about "phones" that make "phone calls" than phones that take pictures. That is the general idea, right???
