Droid Pre-Order?
Does anyone know what date we can pre-order the Droid?
I know Best Buy is one option, but I prefer to go with Verizon.

I don't think there will be a pre-order. It's supposed to be readily available so you should just be able to either order one or pick one up on the 6th.

hey agent , you seem to be in the know. if my new every two was used last feb..on a crappy blackberry touch...how much should i be prepared to spend on the droid on the sixth...{the last girl on customer service said about two to three hundred but i think you said that did not sound right or something.} just want to know so i have the money ready!!!!!

I would say at least if not more. Worst case scenario would be retail which will probably we around $500. You may get $50 off retail as well. If you get very lucky someone in telesales might give you on year or two year pricing. I'd say one year pricing might be the best bet on what you'll get. I don't recall what that is off the top of my head though.

I think $369.99 with a $100 rebate is 1 year pricing. They may give you that and require a 2 year contract renewal. I honestly think that'll be the cheapest you get it.
