hey,
was just wondering. my new every two comes at the first of next month.

for the first time i am at a loss as to what to get. my other phone is damaged and barley useable...so i really need to make a choice.

so what phone would you go for now. or, are there any cell phones on the horizon you would wait for?

{i'm using my sister's while she's in Europe so i COULD wait til end of march.

any thoughts you guys have....thanks!

What do you use your phone for?

How much text messaging?
Do you want to keep up to date with emails? What about surfing the web?

There are a ton of good phones out there, but we would need to know what you want the phone for before we could recommend any.

What do you like about your current phone?
What didn't you like?
What is your current phone?

Keep in mind that the customer service reps can allow you to upgrade/etc early.. at their discretion.. So if your phone is damaged, give them a call.. and ask if you could get your ne2 moved up.. if you've been a customer for a while.. they won't even think twice about allowing you to upgrade early.. in the end they get another 2 year contract out of you.. so it's a win win..

As for phones.. It depends what you're looking for.. The Dare has amazing reviews/is an overall good phone - if you want the touch screen type thing.. If you want a PDA.. I'd say Storm allll the way.. Blackberry's are great devices all the way around..

There probably won't be anything worth waiting for until next 4th quarter (oct-dec).. So I'd check out what they...

I'm not a big fan of the W755 either, but yeah the glyde is the biggest mistake of a phone we've ever had in our store.

well,
to answer your questions. i would love to use my phone to e-mail. but i have never owned a blackberry type device before, so i'm not sure what the learning curve is on that type of phone.

i have a lg {the tv phone the one that screen flips into a t shape..forgetting the model number} i want a higher rez camera..{2.0 or more is cool}..a touchscreen..and real [html i think?] Internet.

that's about all really.

i screwed up getting the phone i have now. i REALLY dislike it. it has been a pain since day one and i have had it replaced twice! so it can't be me. interesting someone said i could move up my new every two....just a month ago since mine is on Feb 1st. i asked.

they said they could not help me..i w...

Try out a Blackberry. Either the Curve or the Storm. Beings you've never used a BB before, I'd probably suggest the Curve as it's a much more proven phone.

Annual contracts are an option, just be aware that you'll be paying more for the phone and you cannot use any New Every 2 Credit.

Yeah, the person who said customer service could move NE2 forward probably doesn't work for the company. Moving NE2 forward - even s day - might happen once or twice a year in our store. I've never seen customer care on the phone do it, unless the customer had 5 lines on a high-tier plan and escalated way up through the ranks.

If you DO work for the company, send me your private extension and I will send all my frustrated customers who feel four months before the contract end is NOT good enough directly to you.

If you call customer service, not go into a store, they'll move it up. Mine is a month away and they approved me to could get my new phone now (over the phone).

Really? Your garden variety CSR cannot move an upgrade date up. They have to beg a supervisor to do it. And length in service is NOT the only factor. Good luck finding one. I'm not saying that it can't be done, but it is not an automatic.
