A easy to use small size PDA phone with a not so expensive service plan that still would give you good service and speed. And also it would have WIFI.

A smart phone running WM6 with a form factor similar to the Samsung U740. In addition to all the current features (camera, MP3, transflash, bluetooth, WiFi etc.), Iā€™d like it to function as a T.V. remote, keyless entry for the car and garage door opener. Also want Sirius or XM reception.

Yeah I have the Samsung i730. I really don't know about the door openers, but if they used some sort of IrDA it would work.

Nintendo phone! something designed like the 9900 but when you open it you have a dpad and some buttons laid out like an oldschool nintendo controller instead of the full keyboard...or hell if they kept it the same size as the 9900 they could fit both on it. Maybe buy games through getitnow or buy preloaded games on microsd card or something.
Oh and they could try to design it retro like so it kinda of looked like the old controllers and use the same plastic, i threw a crap load of those controllers of walls and they never broke šŸ¤£ phone can come with original mario game as well as ringtones.

the ngage and other attempts at this was pretty lame, but i spend a lot of time playing wheel of fortune or tiger woods on my phone now, I use th...

I want a phone that has a movie mode...a mode where the screen darkens in brightness and u can text in a movie theatre without having a huge bright light...seems like a cool feature.

Other than that..qwerty, threaded text messages, clear reception, and great battery life should do it.

Sorry, but I hate people that text while in a movie. Can't you turn the damn thing off for just a couple of hours?

I want a phone with a nuclear powered battery that last forever and never needs charging. When will battery technology catch with all the advancements that have been made to phones?

I agree about the battery...battery advancements are far behind everything else.

I try not to text a bunch in a movie...but sometimes u just have to. I usually don't do it much because of the light of the phone. But movie mode would make it possible to not be disruptive!

I cannot think of any reason you would need to send a text message in a movie. What you need to do if you feel you "need" to send a text message is to leave the theater and send your text. I can guess that you are relatively young and missed all the lessons on manners and respect.

Maybe i'm wrong, but I think your missing the point of the movie mode idea that he's talking about. If it dims the screen as to not bother anybody then what is your problem with it. Nobody would have any clue that you are even doing it. Personally I think this is a much better idea than from the crap I saw last time I went to a movie. This couple a few rows up drove me nuts. The guy had his bluetooth headset on the whole time so I would randomly keep seeing this little blue light. Then the wife's phone rang (at least it was on vibrate) and she sat there yapping away for a good 5 minutes. So I think if you need to keep in contact while at a movie this would be great. While I really don't need to do this it would be a nice feature to h...

Seriously, nowadays with movies at $9 per ticket, the last thing I want to see or hear is someone's phone.
If you can't be bothered with respecting other people nearby, don't go to a movie.
If you have something so important going on, shouldn't you not commit yourself to a 1.5-2 hour movie?
I always have alot going on, but at least I know when I'm at home, no work projects. When I'm at work, no home interference. There's a time and place for everything.
I'm 28 BTW. Age isn't a factor. It's all about respect.

it sounds like your oblivious to what he suggested...

a mode to NOT interrupt...

I like the idea...I have kids that stay in contact with text...and I won't be TALKING ON THE PHONE during the movie.

The world, like it or not, does not revolve around you...or me.
