upgrade question 2
i am getting a new every two upgrade on the fourth of October.
my brother has verizon as well and not long ago his phone took a dive into a pond. it works but is buggy.
i got an add in the mail saying that if you buy the new samsung fascinate. you get any other phone free..[of equal value of course.]
also you would half to re-sigh a new two year.
so i was wondering. can i buy the samsung then choose as my free phone the droid x. and then swap with my brother since he really wants the samsung and i want the droid x.
i read the fine print and it said nothing about the applying only to new customers. just two year contract sign up.
just wondering if i can do this for him..if not he's on his own!

You would have to have two upgrades available. Does he have an upgrade? The two lines may also have to be on the same account but I don't think that will really be an issue.

You need to have 2 eligable lines (or activating 2 new lines) on the same account.
Unless your brother is on your account or you are on his, you can't take this deal.

Was this a corporate VZW ad or some other retailer? All the pricing I've seen says you only get the one-free if they're both Fascinates.
If not, I'll go get me a Droid2 and a Fascinate tomorrow! 🤤

All the stuff I've seen for it in the northeast show it as BOGO. I hate bogo sales.. they're great for business, but I think I spend more time explaining why they can't keep the second phone as a "spare" on their single line than I do making sales.

I just finished ordering the Fascinate and a Droid 2 on the website and it came out to just over $200 total, so I got my Droid 2 for free.
Time to finally kick my old 9530 to the curb. The only real question now is which one do I keep for myself and which one do I give to my wife... 😁
