Use your T610 as a BT remote control???

I have recently seen a friend use his T610 as a Bluetooth remote control using a MAC software. Does anyone know of such solution for a Windows XP OS?

Would love to use my phone as a remote control for my next presentation.

Thanks

What Car Kit is the ****.......>>>?

I am a Nextel Business rep and I have a customer with an i930. He was interested in a handsfree car kit. What car kits would you prefer. I am talking across the spectrum, from kits that you install to kits that you can just plug in.
Thank you.

Motorola Razr V3i and Jabra BT500 Bluetooth Headset

After pairing the razr V3i with Jabra BT500 Bluetooth Headset, I am able to receive calls through my BT500. However, when I play music from the RAZR V3i it does not come through the BT500. In other words, BT500 is not able to receive music played from the RAZR phone. The only way I can hear the music is to disconnect the BT 500 Headset. Does anybody has a solution to this problem?

Using a cell phone as a wireless modem for a Pocket PC

I have an audiovox XV-6600 that I don't use that often, but I would like to be able to use my Verizon Wireless Samsung SCH-A950 as a bluetooth modem and use the Quick-to-net feature to access the net. I don't plan on doing many things that would require a high data speed, mainly email and IM only.

I know that the number to dial is #777 and my user name and password are both qnc.

I am having dificulty paring my XV-6600 with my SCH-A950 for the PDA to recognise the phone as a wireless modem.

Does anybody have any ideas about this?

Wi-Fi

I am looking to (upgrade?) to a "Smartphone" and would like to know, given that the phone has a web browser and a Wi-Fi card, if it would have to be on the carrier's system or would the phone work like a laptop/PDA when connecting to the internet, please?
The a-la-cart services seem to be insanely expensive!
Thank you for any help/suggestions.

VX 8100 & USB Bluetooth adapter for PC

I have some photos on my LG VX 8100 cell phone and I want to transfer them to a laptop using a USB Bluetooth adapter (also called Bluetooth transceiver). I still have not bought the adapter yet. Before buying, I would like to know if it is possible to transfer photos this way.

Motorola HT820 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones

Why would Motorola showcase these headphones on their US site...

http://direct.motorola.com/ens/BTStereoHS_Web_FullSp ... »

... when this applies?:
"Stream music from your Bluetooth 1.1 or higher enabled mobile phone with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP). (Currently the only Motorola mobile phone supporting these profiles is available in Asia.)"

How many people are going to order these headphones before they realize they can't listen to music stored on their phone?

Silly, just plain silly, I say.

Bluetooth & TomTom & Verizon & Nokia

Perhaps someone can help me.
I have a TomTom 700 and I want to get a phone that will run their PLUS service (traffic, weather, etc etc).
The only phone they say will work on Verizon is the Moto 715.
I understand the Nokia 6256 has ALL the Bluetooth profiles in it, so I wonder if this phone might work with TomTom.
I asked TT support, but all I could get was a canned response pointing me to their compatibility list.
Has anyone been down this road?
Thanks.

Which Cell Phone Provider's Data Service is the fastest?

The answer to this may vary due to region, but I was wondering for those that have been with multiple cell phone providers over the years, which company's data service do you think is the fastest or even the best? I'm currently with Cingular and I already know how much faster EDGE is compared to GPRS, but I read in some places (can't remember where) that T-Mobile is saying that their GPRS is a high speed network? I also read that Verizon uses their high speed network similar to DSL?

I'm thinking of leaving Cingular in a year or so (stuck in 2 year contract and their data services are expensive) and would like to know what networks might be as fast or faster. There's no real way to know unless you've been with multiple carriers, ya kn...

Verizon Samsung bluetooth is useless

๐Ÿ˜ˆ I just call Samsung and find out the bluetooth can only use for headset. No pix transfer, no connection to PAD or computer. Any one know if this can work around. I notice the Razr too. I don't think this is the manufacturer issue.

downloads from computer

Hi!
I want to purchase a phone that allows my son to download the games he creates in JAVA and J2ME into the phone. Do I have to purchase a service to do this? We are with Cingular--do I HAVE to purchase a data service? Or can he just connect the phone using a cable to his computer and download?
Thanks for your help!

VZW appears greedy and not in touch with customer needs.

I have a Treo650 with VZW. I can take photos and videos. I can email the photos from the phone but I have to use MMS which VZW charges me to use. Oh, I forgot to mention that I pay VZW $45.00 a month for unlimited data plan so I can use the phone to access the web and process email. Now you would think the $45.00 was enough for VZW but as I mentioned in order to send photos I have to use MMS and pay additional fees. MMS and SMS do not support video so I have no option for sending my videos from my Treo650. According to Palmโ€™s customer service, VZW has locked out my option to attach files to my emails. I could send photos and videos to whomever I wish if I could attach the files to emails but VZW has locked that feature. Palm says the...
