bluetooth and mp3

Hi, I'm new to cell phones and bluetooth. I just recently bought a Lg8100 and I love it. My question was is the bluetooth technology capable to listen to mp3 throught it. Meaning would i be able to connect my bluetooth and listen to music wirelessly from my cell to the bluetooth receiver.
Thank you

Patial OBEX on 8300

The LG 8300 is on its way to VZW. Not a whole lot different from 8100, but will support object transfer for vcards only. Hence, partial OBEX.

Oh, and DUN is enabled too.

Oh again, and the new flash based interface will be present.

Enjoy.

Need some advice for wap access

I need to access a company wap page once or twice a day. Once I get to it I need to enter a 12 character alpha username and a 9 character alphanumeric password. I'm currently doing this via an LG VX7000 connected by Gomadics cable to a Palm device. All entries are performed on the Palm via Graffiti. I can login on the VX7000 alone but I can't get to what I need on the next page. Everything works when done through the Palm device but it is cumbersome and very time consuming.
I've been thinking of a Treo 700W or an XV6700 to replace the VX7000 but here's my question: do I absolutely have to have a data plan to do what I need? I have mobile web @ $5/mo on the 7000 and I don't pay any data charges. I'm guessing that the smartphones won't ...

Plantronics or wait?

Hi everyone looking for an opinion on a BT headset. I'm upgrading to a new phone over the "black friday weekend" (probably a samsung a950 because of the super deal!) and it will be my first BT enabled phone. I'm not a fan of the headsets that require a cord so i'll be also adding in my first BT headset.

After much discussion on here i've been informed that a Plantronics BT headset is part of VZW's black friday promotion. they are offering it at 50% off "supposedly" (29.99 is what i'm hearing).

I'm wondering if i should take advantage of this deal, if its a good one which i'm assuming it is, or if i should wait and get a Jabra (or other type) as a christmas gift?

thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a good opinion! 🙂

Verizon Treo 650 and Exchange Server Email

Can someone tell me if the Treo actually syncs with the exchange server? or does it truly require the pc monitor software with wireless sync? I have had my phone for over a year and have never been able to successfully add my phone profile to pc monitor as it always locks up or keeps saying "initializing account" but never does anything. Having said that, although it has never been added I still can get my exchange server email via my phone and wireless sync, it just works when it wants to and seems to send these wired coded messages to my exchange email whenever I sync. How can I finally make this work?

Finicky Bluetooth connection

I purchased a Samsung i730 with a wireless Jabra headset in December 05. About 3-4 weeks later, I noticed that I would randomly lose my bluetooth connection on the phone. It occurs in good or bad weather, whether I am roaming or not. Both Samsung and Verizon act as if I'm the first person who ever brought this complaint up to them. Samsung says they have a software update, that while not designed for this specific problem, may splve it. Does anyone have any insight on this issue?

Need advice on this if anyone knows....

I want to buy this http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/...tedPhon eId=2200 Verizon Wireless XV6700, but don't know how good it is. I mainly want it for the voice and data features. I want to access my email and surf the web at all times using Verizon's unlimited data plan. I want to use this phone to access my xm online subscription as well. Does this phone play mp3's and video files? Does it support the 1 GB mini SD card? Can some one help me out and give me further recommendations on this phone and some good or bad things it has.

ExpressCard replacing PC cards?

Does anyone have any info on when the wireless companies are going to be compatable with ExpressCards? Apparently many manufacturers like Dell are only selling notebooks with ExpressCards, not PC cards, even though no wireless network supports an ExpressCard currently. I'd like to buy a new notebook but am wary of buying something with a technology that is possibly years from being put into service. Does anyone know when an ExpressCard user will be able to WiFi connect with Cingular?
