the RAM on the charge is only 328mb with at least 200mb being used at any given time but it easily approaches 300mb with several apps open...imo on a "top end" phone should have included at least 512mb if not 1gb ram...
the usable internal storage is 1.2gb
the preinstalled sd card usable is 29gb

On the 19th Verizon is releasing unlimited anytime minutes for a 100 buxx and want to make sure every rep knows what that means since if one talks to 10 reps, you get 10 different answers.

The screen is not a TOUCH screen per say. It is a PRESSURE sensitive screen which means u must put pressure on it; it will be alot easier to use once you do. The fruit phone is a touch screen; two different animals.

I can order it online and my NE2 isn't for another year. That rep is misniformed.

Usually it has to do with if you ordered a phone or upgraded a phone recently, the system online won't let you get another phone right away under that #; have to call in and have it corrected.
On a side note, do they charge you for the phone now, or when it ships?

Phone is Pre-order 11/8 with it's full release scheduled for 11/21; originally it was 11/18 but they pushed it back.
Pricing is $299 after $50 rebate on a 2yr agreement.
I do not know the full retail price.

In an interview with the Associated Press Vzw's chief marketing officer said it would be cheaper then the "other" phone; making it lower then $399.........

They rebate forms are made months in advance, similar to the way store ads are done. Marketing teams are given tentative release dates, problem is Verizon as we all know is notorious for not meeting these dates.
xv6800 most likely pushed to October while the i760 has also been pushed back as Verizon quality control goes over every little thing. Best part is, even after they do that, they still need to release many software updates...

Verizon blacklists all esn/meid #'s that are reported as lost or stolen to prevent unauthorized charges, among other things. All that effort on your part would go to waste.

You only need a police report if the phone is not in your possession and it is claimed as lost or stolen.
If you still have the phone, you have to send it to them after you get the new one.

It appears as if there is a bad batch of phones out there as I picked the phone up yesterday from the store and when I'm on a call, the volume is low and I hear static all the time.
Will be swapping for another one today.
Keep changing your phone out til you get one that works.

It is unlimited TEXT, PIX and FLIX to any carrier not unlimited Vcast. Vcast is still the extra money either $10 or $15 if you want mobile web.

BTW Verizon may go ahead and launch the plans April 15 instead of the 16 or 17...so just know it is definetely sometime that week!
