I just tried to order mine, and to my delight, no avail. It tells me that my requerst cannot be completed online so I have to try to call I guess. Weird...what a bummer. Ah well, hopefully no worries when I call...

same here and called they said it was a issue with the online and cant be resolved thru C/S .. so now we wait

I just finished ordering my phone online. It worked fine. I went into my account online and the phone was an option for me in my upgrade list.

Really?? Wow I wonder why Drakes and I are having problems...I just tried to order it again and it would not let me. I followed the same route as you did too. What browser are you using? That probably isn't the issue, but I'm wiling to try anything to order this puppy. Maybe I'll just give them a call here to see if I can order online...

Just spoke to Verizon CS and the lady there said that they are having problems with their internet and to try back in about an hour. We'll see.

Ok, so I confirmed this morning with Verizon:
Pre-Order is only available to new customers / new accounts, or existing customer that have a NE2 available right now.
Existing customers with no NE2 available must wait until the end of the month when it's available in the stores and online.

I can order it online and my NE2 isn't for another year. That rep is misniformed.
Call back again.
Usually it has to do with if you ordered a phone or upgraded a phone recently, the system online won't let you get another phone right away under that #; have to call in and have it corrected.
On a side note, do they charge you for the phone now, or when it ships?
