Some new info on The Voyager
I just called my Verizon guys (indirect retailers) to reserve a Voyager, and it just so happens that one of them went to an event last night where lots of phone manufacturers were showing off there new products, etc.
Anyway, I don't have too much new info, but he said that the touchscreen is amazing. He was floored by the way it vibrated when you tapped something, as a way to recognize your input. He said that the browser is very quick, and that neither Verizon nor LG missed a thing. He said the phone seems solid, and has everything you could ever need.
He also told me that they might hit stores as early as November 1, which I personally find hard to believe, but the thought is exciting anyway!

I know, that's what I said to him, but he said they might rush them out sooner because of the demand. I'm not holding my breath on that, but I just thought I would share what I heard. One can hope. . . 🙄

VZW spaced out the release dates on those devices like they did specifically to build up hype around the voyager. they are to some smaller extend doing like apple did and whipping you into a frenzy to get the phone. Mind you they had enough taccct not to start a year or more before the release promising thins they didn't deliver... but that's a whole different discusion.

an lg rep came into my store on wednesday and said they wanted the voyager out by the 15th and i asked him abut the 18th and he said it could be earlier tht they are looking at the 15th, only 3 day difference
...
All I know is that in our area if you receive it before the release date and it doesn't ring up all 9's... you can sell it, just so long as you're selling accessories and getting some data out of it. Funny how we'll look the other way for an activation. BTW the Juke will be in certain store location on Friday. Ask for it
