I have had the eris for about 2 days and it is by far the best phone I have used to date. I work for the company and have carried all kinds of smartphones and this phone by far is the best of them all, slick, fast, loud, customizable, all kindsa stuff! enjoy it folks

You can try to activate it on VZW, now if it is successful you will not be able to do any data on the device and will only work with voice/text. Pix/Flix/ or any data services will not connect.

May not be a grandfather plan. The VZW loyalty plan 59.99 550 minute plan is a current plan offered as a save method. not everyone qualifies. But to answer question no, that is the lowest rate plan offered, and will be with any national carrier.

I've tried a lot to fix that on customer's phone, doesnt happen often, if what he says doesnt work, go ahead and go to a vzw store and have them dfill a fru...that's what i've been trying. and yes .90 does have a camera issue if you are using beta software

I've been running it since day it came out...so far so good...MMS issue still there...lag on texy is about gone, i may go back to .85 which is the best one that i have yet to try, camera is blazing fast though very nice to have! MR2 from vzw should be released early April!

Look at the Env2 it has your full QWERTY keypad, smaller then the original env. Especially for texting...if you want to take it up a notch go to the voyager, has a lot of extras that most phones do not have! let us know how it goes!

Yeah it's not VZW's fault they dont make the software for the phones. Its a known issue with the Curve soft reset is a temp fix for the issue. Be patient, wait for verizon to approve the software from RIM and you'll be good. Employees and all alike are dealing with it

I see this often...are you texting att people? That's where i see the issue the most to be honest...what you need to do is bring your phone into a corporate location with live technicians, have them check the software and do any updates if needed. Also they should try and refresh the feature. IF all fails wireless data support can refresh the feature on thier end and make sure everything is ok and your phone is flowing smoothly through ...

No you cannot use MP3 files that you use as music as ringtones. as far as the images on the memory card as wallpaper yes you can I do it all the time, also if you have the Dare you can transfer BT files as well my co-workers steal my music all the time lol

You dont have to go through telesales a store rep would be able to activate it as service only. Most customer service reps know that if a phone is bought and equipment is provided by customer that we can offer a phone at the two year price. Just realize that your ownedevice will not be under warranty and you will not be able to add any kind of insurance. 8O

Are you insane!? I love browsing on the dare actually what im using to reply. Im not familiar wit the kraze we will have to see when it comes out. The glyde is a hunk of junk. I see more glydes in my store come back wit issues then almost any other phone including chocolate. Be patient and wait for the kraze and reviews. Dare best touch yet for verizon.

The voyager is in titanium! Strong and lightweight. Its like a gun metal color really nice comes wit v09 software. 149*99 and infomanager says no mir. Just some fyi.

i see this happen a lot. some lines reverted to the 20month deal and some are still on the 22 month deal. all it takes is have customer care or go to a vzw corporate location and have a supervisor change the date for you simple as that they just gotta check the dates and if it is correct it will be changed that day!
