Hey Chris I just read over at crackberry that it was more of an internal release thing. Crackberry.com did communicate some of the info that was released from the internal emails.

Right I was excited a month ago but now I am super excited. I do have one question. DO you think it will be 16bit, 18 bit or do you think they might kick up the colors to compete with apple's Iphone 16 million colors?

im sure it will atleast match the iphone. And if they could, they should do their best to beat the iphone. I just wanna see a video or some online mockups where we can see the entire device.

I know I want to see some official pictures/videos as well. I just noticed that all Blackberrys are 16bit, and I really don't want to see them put that on The Storm. I wish they would get the site up and running from verizon.

Thanks, I am well aware that the LG Dare is 18bit, most phones are 18bit. When dealing with PDA's and Blackberry devices they are usually 16bit.
The dare is a nice phone, it's just not for me. I've played with it in the store more than once and I just came to the conclusion that I don't like it for my own personal use.

I asked this a while back but I'm hoping somebody has some new info for me! Any chance of this phone having PTT capabilities or at least the possibility of a SW update to make it PTT capable?? I'm very interested in this phone, I love my 8830 but I could make great use of PTT.... what to do-what to do....

Why do you think that won't be an option. This device would be awesome if it had PTT. I am not a Sprint/Nextel user but if they can do PTT on a Blackberry I don't see why Verizon doesn't. I think they would be able to boost their PTT fanbase if they expand the number of phones they offer it on! Until then I will keep wishing!

PTT has truly become a niche market. With free mobile to mobile and the text explosion, PTT is obsolete for your average person.
Trust me, verizon will NOT EVER PUT PTT ON THIS FREAKING PHONE!!! They don't need to do it, and if you want a PTT phone get a boulder or adventure.
Stop wishing, and start taking a realistic look at the cell market. PTT does not drive sales or actions of cell companies (unless your nextel).
Start looking elsewhere if PTT is a feature you need.

Well. The storm looks awesome i will be sure to try it out as my first blackberry. The storm will release in the states exclusive to verizon and the thunder will be the same device but on a canadian carrier.
