Does anyone else have problems with txt messages? Like you don't get txts that people send you or people don't get your txts?!?! I was just wondering if I was the only one experiencing this or not.

I see this often...are you texting att people? That's where i see the issue the most to be honest...what you need to do is bring your phone into a corporate location with live technicians, have them check the software and do any updates if needed. Also they should try and refresh the feature. IF all fails wireless data support can refresh the feature on thier end and make sure everything is ok and your phone is flowing smoothly through the network. Or heck it could be your phone and it may need to be replaced 😛 could be a lot of things! store technician first!

This is true. However, you should call tech support first. We can see the version of firmware running your phone and waiting in line at a corp store may be a waste of your time. As 85% of the time they call tech support and hand you the phone. Store reps, no offense, have limited resources. In tech support we look at the phone, the account and network provisioning. If we can verify your firmware is up to date, we can see if this is a known issue in your area we can file a trouble ticket. All this in about 10 minutes. If the phone needs updating or replacing, we can direct you to a store that has them in stock or the ability to update it or if need be send you a replacement.

So in short, always call tech support first. Store reps are gr...

I would call tech support first to have them check the network on the phone. We don't always call and just hand the phone to the customer. But it does help if everything is already refreshed in the network and though they do have some more tools we can still do a lot in the store. If you do go to the store it does help if it is a store with live techs. I would call the store before hand and make sure they are at that location.

Most of the people I txt have either Verizon, Sprint, or Cingular. I have only had problems though with the people that have Verizon and Sprint. I thought this was definitely odd with Verizon users. I can see Sprint users, but not someone in my same network. I end up just send the same txt a couple times and then they get it. I'm due for an upgrade in December and am looking at getting the Env2 and I'm hoping it doesn't happen with that phone.

well that seems to be good advice that davie1999 gave you, it almost seems like he is an employee of Verizonwireless but I am sure he is not since part of his terms of employment is that he is not suppose to represent vZW outside of work.
