Update on the official OS for Storm
Has anyone heard anything newlatelyon when the official OS will be released?

The way its been going, with another 6-8 leaked versions sure to come out, Verizon will announce an official update when no one has the phone anymore, and that official advisory will promote turning in the obsolete Storm for scrap metal.
The new model, 4th in the series will actually have a camera that works! 😉

Yea, Verizon is taking a LITTLE bit of time deciding their next official OS.
On the last official .75 OS release The blogs seemed to know about its official release about a week or so ahead of time.

Do you suppose they'll finally get their act on straight and release a version that takes some of the "positives" of the 5 or 6 leaked versions and put in patches that correct the many glitches in .75? One would tend to hope so. If not, another "official" version will be the only game in town for months!
You would think the release would be a fix. If they perform with the mindlessness of the past, however, the Storm will be nothing more than a "breeze".... 😢

March was a target date for the MR2 release....expect it early April i'm sure from what our tech guy is sayin...

I've been operating with the .75 OS. Would welcome the fixes featured in all the leaked versions. I'm sure when the release date is announced, it will be major discussion content on this forum. The sad thing is the only info from Verizon will be on the day of the offering.
There should be some "leaks" on this date in advance.
