Help!
I sooooo want a side slide phone, I love VZW, love 'em so much that even though I work for Sprint and have for 5 yrs. I have stayed w/VZW through everything, even when I can get a better deal through sprint... But I wants a slider, NO TOUCH SCREEN and the only phone that i can find that comes anywhere close to what i want is the Rival, and I would really love this phone cuz I love Motorola but I can handle damn touch screens.... As far as I can tell VZW doesnt have a side slide w/o touch screen... OK SO MY POINT/QUESTION is: is there any way I can take a LG Rumor from Sprint and use it on my VZW acct??

No, but the Rival doesn't need to be used as a touch screen if you don't want to. The touch screen is used for dialing a number, but you can use the keypad to dial numbers. You will like the Rival.

There is the Touch Pro as well as the Rival. Both of them slide with full QWERTY keyboards, and are able to be dialed without using the touch screens.
You work for Sprint, so you know how good the TP is. The Rival is like some other touchscreen that I've used, but can't think of. I wouldn't own it for myself. I can't stand the screen, even though the phone is rather decent. It's just that I'm used to premium touch screens, and it obviously isn't.

You can try to activate it on VZW, now if it is successful you will not be able to do any data on the device and will only work with voice/text. Pix/Flix/ or any data services will not connect.

Don't get too excited. It's not going to work. Verizon is not going to load those ESN/MEIDs into its switch.
