Make sure that you have the latest Mobile Phone Tools- I think its version 4... I have done numerous transfers using both MPT with the cable and the bluetooth as well as straight bluetooth transfers from my Mac to the Slvr, so it WILL work

1) You WOULD NOT have to pay an activation fee, just the $15 equiptment change fee 2) You WOULD have the same number- it'd be the equivilent of an early upgrade

Do you have a tax ID? Thats the only way you can get the small biz plans... otherwise you're looking at the $89.99 for 1700, m2m and n&w starting at 7 add the call me for $10. In WI, the coverage is more consistant then most other ones and I havent personally had a complaint. Customer Service/ Billing- as long as you dont go over your minutes/text/pictures/EE whatever on a regular basis, you should be fine. I have ...

The easiest thing is to changes everything (ESN & any additional features) in AIM and then when you call into PRC just have them do a contract renewal... MUCH EASIER!

Why do you think its a benefit? Personally I think its a BIG warning sign if you have to show your coverage at a street by street level- so what, it will work here on 82nd and 33rd but not 85th and 33rd? (made up streets, not real locations) Have you considered US Cellular at all??? $49.99 1000 min unlimited incoming and n&w 7-7

What about actually USING the insurance on your phone- if its really been that long, there is a decent chance that phone is not still being made and you will get something that works and is similar to what you already have...

The RAZR has a mini USB- the same as the PSP and a lot of digital cameras which makes that data cable ridiculously easy and cheap to find.

try sending it to yourself or a bogus number in a picture message- it will save in the outbox, from where you should be able to save the file to your phone and set it as a ringtone.

If you try to reactivate it after telling the insurance you lost it, it could be considered fraud... just something to consider...

L0L- one of our stores has double doors, but for one reason or another one stays locked and the other one, with the hours and such is unlocked for use. There is nothing funnier than listening to a customer b*tch about calls THEY made that caused their bill to go 3 times higher than normal then watch them storm right into that locked door

Download an MP3 cutter then transfer - I've never been able to edit and save a song through MPT as an MP3 and the phone wont recognize any other format. I use the bluetooth transfer and that way there is no need to even bother with MPT.

From what I've seen (NOTE: READ, have not DONE) you should be able to hack the phone and remove the stock photos and ringtones. Try howardsforum.com. But, as it says, you can easily brick the phone...

Motorola does sell a splitter that you would plug into your Razr charger. One side has the mini USB, the otherside has the old prongs. http://motorola.digitalriver.com/DRHM/servl et/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayProductDet ailsPage&SiteID=motostor&Locale=en_US&Env=BAS E&productID=36063400

Ok- so when you set your alarm, the screen looks like this: Name: _____________________ Time: _____________________ Alarm: Vibe Dot Dash Volume: ___________________ The Vibe Dot Dash needs to be changed to a sound AND the Alarm setting under the Ring Styles needs to be turned on. If you have the US Cellular Razr (which I'm assuming you do since you're in the US Cellular forum) and have both of those set, even if the phone is set to silent for the calls, ...

Re: New 30 day trail rules for renewals.
Mar 8, 2006, 7:02 PM

Most other carriers have a shorter trial period before the customer is charged for the full month and the activation fee (Cingular) or just a shorter time period (Sprint's 15 days vs US Cellular's 30) So unless they immediately hated, it, they'd be stuck in a contract there.

Sorry  i only use speed no 1-6 on my phone, but you are correct- you would then have to select SEND to actually call the person, but dialing the speed no and # will get you to the contact instead of scrolling through the list.

Does your phone have the Motorola menu or the Verizon menu? If its the Verizon then I dont know what to tell you, but on the Motorola menu (which is the same for practically EVERY motorola phone), you go into phonebook (which is the same as contact). When the list of all of your contacts come up, there will be the left soft key option, right soft key option and the 'menu' option- on my phone its four ...

Once you assign a speed dail, you dial the number, say 55 and then press and hold the # key to dial. To sort the numbers, go into the phonebook, select menu- setup- sort by: speed number.
