Compared 6 prepaid carriers before picking infimobile here's what i found

Looked at mint mobile, visible, tello, and us mobile before deciding. went with Infimobile and glad I did.

What sold me you pick between verizon or t-mobile at signup. most prepaid carriers don't give you that choice. pay once a year, no monthly bills, no contracts. coverage has been solid everywhere I've used it.

works out to about $6-7 a month. Hard to beat that.

Infimobile saved me over $600 this year here is why?

Been using Infimobile for a few weeks now and already doing the math. was paying $65/mo before thats $780/yr. now paying $75/yr on their 10GB plan, T-Mobile network, unlimited calls and texts. that's $705 saved annually. coverage has been exactly what I expected solid everywhere I go. If anyone here is still on postpaid and hesitating just do it.

I use the cheapest prepaid plan in the USA $7.5/mo

Just signed up for Infimobile recently. on their 10gb plan 6 months for $45, works out to $7.5/mo. runs on verizon or t-mobile network. unlimited calls and texts, no contract. coverage is great, no issues at all. cheapest cellular plan without contract I've found in the USA. Anyone else on Infimobile?

Thinking of switching to Infimobile worth it ?

Want to switch to Infimobile. Really impressed by the plan prices honestly. But have one question they use Verizon and T-Mobile networks. Do I get the exact same service as being directly on Verizon or T-Mobile? Anyone using it can share their experience?

Has anyone heard of Infimobile? How do they offer Verizon and T-Mobile service so cheap?

Stumbled across Infimobile while looking for an affordable prepaid plan. They are charging $75/yr for 10gb on Verizon or T-Mobile network. That's like $6/mo. Verizon themselves charge $65+/mo for the same network. How is Infimobile offering the exact same service at a fraction of the price? Anyone actually used them? Is there a catch?

Phone contracts are a scam what are people actually paying now?

Just got hit with an unexpected price increase from my carrier third time in two years. Done with contracts and monthly billing games. Looking at alternatives. I know some carriers offer no contract plans but not sure how reliable they actually are. What are people actually paying for reliable cell service these days? Feels like there has to be a better way than being locked into whatever the big carriers decide to charge.

Anyone tried one of those annual prepaid plans? Curious about the experience

My coworker switched to a prepaid carrier that charges once a year. She's on a 10GB plan with unlimited talk and text, breaks down to about $6-7 a month. All digital, no stores.

Anyone here tried something like this? Does the coverage actually hold up?

Phone time paused

I recently replaced my phone for the third time, and each time I done so I had nearly 2-3 weeks of airtime still left.
Basicly,I put time on it & a week & a half later Id manage to break it somehow, leaving nearly 2 1/2 weeks of time left.
Is there any possible way to get my airtime paused until my new replacement phone comes in and just continue on with my remaining airtime.

Phones are going crazy!

There are many different carriers were we live.Small town in the Mountains, all has been good since we've lived here. The dates are on our phone, wrong time, can't receive any text messages, recent calls don't show, very, very slow?

PrePaid costs less than contract price, flash phone

I've been checking, my phone is pretty much dead and that limits me to a choice of 4 phones I can get without a data plan.

We pay ~$88 per month after taxes for unlimited minutes and texts. If I add the 2gb data plan to our phones our cost jumps to $133.49 give or take after taxes.

BUT, if we switch to prepaid, we would have our 2 lines and 1gb data per phone with unlimited talk/text for $100 after tax.

We don't really have a choice of providers here other than spotty coverage of Verizon.

Could we flash our phones so they would work on prepaid us cellular?
mine is a Motorola w385 which is dying and my wife's is a LG something with a slide out keyboard.

Sorry so long. Any thoughts on this?
btw. Why is their p...

ESN

I have a US cellular phone that is tied to another account right now. Aside from paying the outstanding bill, is there any way to clear the ESN? I HAVE a friend who wants tone activate the phone on a us cell prepaid thing. Is there a time limit or is paying the bill the only way?

device financing

Here's another little tidbit of info about u.s. cellular that people should know before financing a phone. If you change to shared data and finance the phone, not only are you held to the installments in the phone, you're also held to an early termination fee as well. A little food for thought if you want to cancel a line

No more subsidies on phones!

You heard it. If you have an old plan and want to upgrade the only option you have is to finance the phone. If you're on shared data, you can do discounted pricing but not old plans.

Customer Service on the Decline

Here's a few reasons why I think the Customer Service is on the decline!

1. You need to be checked in to make a payment. So, basically I need to wait 1-3 hours to pay my bill? You don't want my money to badly do you?

2. Elimination of techs. Put your faith into a box instead of experience. See how fast that box eliminates some of your customers.

3. Business customers can't do any orders online. No using points, no upgrading lines, no new lines, nothing outside of view points and bills and usage.

4. No preorders allowed for the iPhone 6 for business customers. SERIOUSLY!? Blame Apple all you want USC, but it's your lack of customer service and common sense.
