I was looking on the US CELLULAR web page, Under Investor Relations. The are documents that look like an agreement to sell to Verizon. Does anyone have information about this. Do I need to find a NEW JOB.

The new uprepaid service looks extremely promising. We get a good discount on our monthly service and this uprepaid is STILL going to be $40 less per month.

Still checking on a smart phone. I guess with this service you can only use the hawaii ascend phone which has the worst ratings of any phone I've looked at.

Hi all, I'm currently on my parent's plan, and have no major complaints with U.S. Cellular, besides not having the iPhone (we switched from Sprint; I had the iPhone). I'm about to move to an area where U.S. Cellular roams (the nearest home area is an hour away) so I will be roaming constantly, will that be an issue? My phone is usually connected to wifi on campus but not always. I was considering letting my cousin have my phone, and just getting the iPhone with Virgin Mobile since I know that they have great coverage where I'm moving. Will roaming constantly even matter? Thanks!

Hey all. I am in the middle of a bit of a dilemma. I am ready to upgrade phones and I am trying to figure out which one to get. I currently have a now ancient HTC Desire. Looking at USCC's current offering I am between the Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2, and the Motorola Electrify M. I am only considering the S2 because thanks to rewards points I could get it for free, but then I am getting a new old phone. Anyone have any constructive input here?

I have read all of the reasons why USCell did not go with previous iPhones (money, no LTE, etc.). But is there not a chance that if the new iPhone comes with LTE that they may sell their soul to Apple this time around?

What network does USCC run on?

I would like to get others opinions on a buyout/merger possibility with this company. It seems to have spiraled downward hard since the last earnings report (loss of 20%). Customers have not been added in 2 years? It seems like employees are getting paid less (at least according to this forum). Limited devices/no Iphone. I do understand the company takes great strides to achieve good customer service, but the results don't seem to be there. Or am I wrong?

Looking at some of the previous buyouts att/cingular....alltel/verizon....sprint/next el what do you all think will happen?

Personally, I think it is extremely undervalued from its current share price.

Carriers T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular will most likely not be carrying the iPhone 5 at launch due to engineering issues as well as high subsidy costs.

I have done some investigating and haven't been able to find out if USC and Verizon do in fact use the same frequencies for their 4G LTE service. I'm trying to verify that the Wilson Sleek 4G-V booster will work with my USC MiFi card. I'm in the southern Wisconsin area.
