DO everything right and still come out wrong?
👿 I'm pissed off right now because I just received a 20 score on a secret shop because the shopper said I was not interested in making a sale.
The funny thing about this is I work in a mall kiosk which is hit or miss with customer most days but on Tax Free Weekend when I'm trying to sell phones to every person who comes around my kiosk I get a secret shopper who says I didn't care. The last time I was busy and got shopped I used the same sales process with the sheet and everything and got a 100 but now I'm disinterested. Well maybe I should just quit because I don't want to make money now in the eyes of my bosses even though I've been increasing sales at this kiosk since I got here and improving customer service which this place lac...

At least you don't get in the sort of trouble I do.
If anyone in my agency gets under an 80 on a secret shop, we lose our commission for that two week period in which we got the shop.
This is a new policy, they used to just take $50 from our paycheck.
Now, soon, thanks to idiots in power, I'll be losing $500-$600, all because of some shopper.

😲 Are you serious that sucks ass! So now even if you do a good job on the shop and its a crappy shopper having a bad day, you can lose all the money you busted your ass to make.

that is the most ridiculous punishment I have ever heard of! I could see maybe losing commissions for a day, but for two weeks? Cmon, that is just insane and greedy!

You know what the funny thing is? Our store didn't get shopped last month....two things happened -
1) Our district manager got shopped.
2) Our district manager got shopped.
I LOVE getting my commission cut...what did we as managers get cut? 50%?
It's someone elses word against ours--they get paid regardless of the score we get, so why would they pay attention to anything we say?

I hate secret shops, because who knows what they do. They could shop 5 stores in one day, and then do all the paperwork right befroe they go back to ShopCheck and make most of the **** up!!!!!! The secret shopper system sohud'nt tell our bosses how qualified we are to sell a cell phone!!!!!!!!!!! I hate them, I've even passed all od mine with a 95 or above, but I still feel for the people who fail for no reason. That has happend a couple times in my company.

I agree!! At my store we had the same thing. We knew it was the mystery shopper and the guy followed the sheet and covered everything. He scored a 37. The shopper said the salesman was more interested in showing her his phone and how to use it than any of the others. The real reason he was showing her that phone was because it was the one she said she wanted. I hate the mystery shop program!

🤨 I dont like it either because it wastes time when your actually trying to make sales and the people they hire are not even capable of grading the rep properly.

yeah it sucks when you have people in the store that actually need help or want to buy something, and these customers have to wait while the salesrep wastes their time with the mystery shopper. I understand this may need to be done every once in a while but I think if the store makes a 100 then they shouldn't be shopped again till the next quarter. Why every month?? Waste of money on Cingular's part if you ask me.....
