Slider Remix MP3 set as ringtone?
I just got this phone and will be picking up a 512MB card for MP3.
Can I set an MP3 as a ringtone or did they cripple this feature so you have to download ringtones?

try sending it to yourself or a bogus number in a picture message- it will save in the outbox, from where you should be able to save the file to your phone and set it as a ringtone.

You can send mp3 ringtones from the razr to this phone. The file size is limted thats about it.
Easy Edge is great I will get some more tones from that.
This phone is really nice, However I just use my I pod.
With power save mode on this phone I get 3 days of use with it.
Without power save mode I would have to charge it every night.

Yes Your Are Able To Use MP3 As Ring Tones, All You Need To Do Is Use The Phone In File Trasfer Mode, And Save The MP3 To The Saved Sounds Folder.. Then They Work

I would do this but my phone is not right.
Today b4 I got a trans flash card for it I went on EE and the phone froze up.
And it did it again after a call.
Now after I put the card in and I did not get the gig Just the 512mb card like Kyocera recomends you use.
every time I go into the music player......You guess it my phone freezes up.

OK got it to work.
Haiving to buy a card and card reader is way more expensive the using EE.
As long as my phone dont freeze then I should be ok. If it does then I sending it back for another.

ok everyone who has this phone or plans on getting this phone if you put mp3 on a card some songs will cause the phone to freeze up.
I know for a fact that you cant have the # sign in the file name of the song or the phone will freeze up.
Once I deleted that song have not had a problem since.
