How can I change the default text entry method?

Hi.

I just got my 9800 today. I have a really simple question. How can I change my default text imput method? I want to change it to t9 because it's automatically set on ABC and when I get a text message, I'd like to be able to respond quickly without having to change the settings. I've gone through the phone and I've looked through the manual and I just can't find anything about this.

Thanks for all of your help!

LGVX9800 or A930

I am going to upgrade using NE2 from my LGVX6000 and i cant decide which one i want to get.

Has anyone had both the A930 and the LGVX9800 and has an opinion on which is better (i like the fact that the A930 is $100 dollars cheaper so the LGVX9800 has to be real good in order for me to get it).

Any opinion would be helpful.

How to get video clips on phone?

Ok so I finally got the 9800 and I'm verry happy with it. the first thing is that when someone sends me a video clip, I can open it when its in my inbox but once i save it to My Flix folder, i can't open open it and it says FLix Message can not open or something like that. Also, I plan on buying the 256 MB MINI SD card tomorrow along w/ the USB card reader so I'd like for someone to explain to me (since ive never done it before) how to compress some video files from the computer and put it onto my phone for viewing anytime. Like, what kind of video files can i uuse, which software to compress the files should I use, and how easy is it to do? I'd really apprecaite some help here and I thank you in advance. also, when i log onto Mobile Web 2.0...

How do I play mp3 off of card?

My wife just bought a LG 9800 from Verizon and I got her a 512 mini-SD for it. She loaded it up with mp3s and now can't figure out how to play them on her phone. I need help desperately, I'm not too far off from throwing it against the wall!!! 😡 The instruction book sucks as far as telling you how to play the files, let alone, just access the card. HELP PLEASE!!!

A couple of questions...

So i love my new VX9800 phone 😁 but I have been reading over these files and have some questions about my phone that will determine if I will keep it or return it in 15 day time trial.

1. I havent gotten my mini SD yet, but I was just trying out my phone and everytime I try to go into 'My Music and Tunes" and 'My sounds' it freezes, i can get into the default ones that come on the phone..but wheven i look for a empty folder or something it freezes. Will this change when i get a mini sd, and it just freezes cause its trying to read something not there? Any thoughts?

2. My battery time is horrible, i plug it in all night and it says 'complete' and everything but after 2 hours of straight talking on speaker phone and im already 2 bars sh...
