Many Questions on V Features
So what can this phone do without having to pay any of the vcast, web, navigator, etc. monthly fees?????
Can you get AIM of get it now and make every message sent count like a text message? If not is there a way to get AIM and make each message count as a text message?
Can you use the navigator without having to pay monthly and just pay for that one time you use it?? Also is the navigator updated because my friends live in brand new houses that arent even on the map quest and google maps yet.
Can you go on the web and browse it and just pay for the times you use it instead of paying monthly??
How much memory does the phone come with and about how many songs can you fit in that memory??

Ok well let me see if I can help you out here.
1. Without having to pay for any of the web, navigator stuff, this phone can still text, picture, and video message very fast, download ringers off get it now, use a mini sd card for more memory.
2. Mobile AIM come preloaded onto the phone under the messages folder and I believe the way that it works is that when you send an IM over mobile aim, it's gonna cost you an additional text message or 25 cents because the phone doesn't recogonize any number that your sending that IM to vs. sending a text to another verizon # which it'll recognize.

This phone has text to speech, txt messeging, awesome camera, bluetooth, speakerphone, you can delete the banners or change what they say, nice calculator and ez tip cal, world clock, change short cuts, calendar, alarm clock, notepad you can use any where from remembering passwords to grocery lists, name card reader. Lots more if your wondering about a certain feature just ask.
You actually get aim from the messege tab of the menu. Just hit the left soft key when the phone is open and it will take you to messeges then scroll down to mobile IM and you download it right there. Each sent and received messege counts as txt.

Thanks you guys helped a lot but i still got a couple of questions:
1: So if you use the navigator once in a day u might as well keep using it that same day becuase it chargers $2.99 per day(if you dont pay monthly) and not per everytime used??
2: Can you put several songs on the memory it already comes with or do you need a card and card reader to put songs on the V in the first place?
2.5: Which would be cheaper to do buying the mini sd card & reader to put songs on it or buying a usb cable and using a program to put songs on it?

1. I think the navigator is a $9.99 monthly fee or 2.99 a day so you can probably use it all day.
2. You need a card, and either a reader, usb cord, or bluetooth.
3. It would be like maybe 5 dollars cheaper to get usb but be way more of a hassle than using a card reader.

just a little side note..you can load about 9 songs without a card...however you can't have toomany pics or other things. Just enough memory to get you interested.
