ok i have 2 questions , ive transferedmusic to my mini card for playback but when i try and convert the music files they dont transfer, no i have transfered 6 songs, but i wanted to put about 75 songs on the card, its 256 mb, so i know the 6 songs take up about 5 mb, i tried makin the files MP3 formatted but i still culdnt get the songd to tranafer

#2, also how do i get to the equalizer when playing songs back on the phone, they say its one on it but i have yet to find how to get to it

1. Don't convert files. Leave them in .mp3 format.

2. The equalizer has like 6 different modes or something like that, just click the little external camera button above the sound button.

i also tried the camera and the equalizer didnt come up do i hold it or just tap it??/

ok here we go JMD, 2 things : #1, i tried the EQ, whe the music was playin by tappin the camera button o the outside of th phone, i didnt have any EQ come up u think my phone is broke???, i mean i can play songs, and all but no EQ it just pauses the song , #2, i have many songs on my computer, some MP3 some wma, even the MP3 songs dont convert to my phone, when i try it say conversion in progress but nothin happens, i even let it do it overnight and when i woke up it said the same thing, i even got a program that converts wma's to mp3 but that didnt even wk, eventually i just dowloaded the songs via vcast (damn), u are the God on here help me dawg

Thats weird cuz i just copy my mp3s from my folder to the Mp3 folder in my SD card and when i put it in my phone they work fine...

did u formatted ur SD card before doin all this?

Ohh, I misread the first time.

Well, if they are not uploading in .mp3 format after you converted them, then I would suggest shortening the file names.

Also, since your more than likely not using itunes or a legit program like that, I would just recomend when you download the song, look for it to be in the .mp3 format originally.

thanks, i also have many songs on my hard drive on my computer that i wanted to trans to the phone/minidisk, thats were im havin the prob, when i try and copy them to the mini disk from my computer , windows media player isnt converting them only a few songs got transferred

What does windows media player convert the songs to? All my music is in mp3 format and then it needed to convert it in order to send it to my phone. I wonder if it is turning them into WMA format for the phone.

When I got the music package from Verizon, they told me to sync with the Windows Media Player, which I did. then, when they started syncing with my phone, it converted all my mp3s to wma's. So, I am waiting for a mini-sd card reader that I ordered. Once I get that, I should be able to transfer mp3's directly to the my music folder, correct?

thanks guys i finally got it to trans, i was usin media player and it didnt convert , i finally just copied the songs and pasted them into the mini card file from my computer. it works great, now can anyone tell me how to get to the equilaizer??
