I am going to upgrade using NE2 from my LGVX6000 and i cant decide which one i want to get.

Has anyone had both the A930 and the LGVX9800 and has an opinion on which is better (i like the fact that the A930 is $100 dollars cheaper so the LGVX9800 has to be real good in order for me to get it).

Any opinion would be helpful.

The question is what will you be doing w/ your new phone function wise? The LG VX 9800 is mainly for texting, picture messaging, video messaging, emailiing, because it has the full QWERTY keyboard on it which makes it really easy to message people. It's a nice solid phone all around. It is a bit bulky but if you tink about it its a 2 in 1 device because when flip closed, its a candy bar style phone w/ regular keypad, and flipped open its got a much bigger screen. I hope this helps you somehow.

Well I don't know anything about the a930 but quite a bit about the 9800.

You can put music, movies, and type of video clip. Form mp3 playlists, get on mobile web it has vcast, and vcast music.

Most excellent camera
(1.3 megapixels) with flash, lcd dual mode (which makes it when your phone is open you can see yourself in the smaller screen, name card reader (take a picture of a business card and save the info in your contacts), night mode, different shudder sounds (you can choose none), color effects like negative, black and white, sephia, regular etc., photometry, resolution, self timer, white balance, and brightness, along with 10x zoom. The video also has 10x zoom which is rare in phones.

It has bluetooth. Instant messenger(...

Yes, If you take a look at most of the threads on this page I showed everyone how to do this. You need a card reader and a mini sd card. No need to buy songs. Once you get those items then I can help you out.
