Hi, I'm upgrading phones from a T722i to a V400 and I was wondering are the T722i accessories such as:

Charger
Home Charger
Travel Charger
USB Data Cable
Leather Casing
and etc...

are compatible with the V400.

I am thinking of buying this phone. Most of the calls , I will be making will be from the NY/NJ area to different states in the US. My questions are :-

a) How is the reception of this phone as far as the nation wide GSM coverage is concerned.

b)How long is the battery life , I read some reviews that it sucked . Does anyone has this phone and using this to make calls in the Northeast area.

I want a V400, but I also want a Sony Ericcson T616. Can someone help me with my decision?

I just ordered the v400 - thinking that the v600 is just extra $$ for features I won't use. Plus I heard of casing cracking problems with the v600.

Now I'm having second thoughts. Someone please reassure me - or convince me to send the 400 back and get the 600 instead.

has anyone that owns a v400 had any problems with the keypad sticking, or the phone freezing up suddenly? i'm an agent for cingular in north carolina, and i've had the v400 for about two months now, and it's just now giving me problems, i was just trying to see if anyone else had the same problems or not.

this is my second v400... my first one keeps shutting off... now this one i just got 3 three weeks ago wont call out or get calls in. what a piece of garbage!! going to get another phone!!

does anyone know how that i can upgrade my v400 flexware to that of the v600?

I'm debating on staying with Cingular and getting the V400 or moving over to T-Mobile and getting the Samsung E715. The deciding factor is the ring styles available for the V400. Most reviews on this site states that the V400 does not ring and vibrate at the same time, but then why is it listed as one of the ring styles available in the owners manual? This would only be my 2nd phone with a Nokia 3360 being the 1st when I signed up 2 years ago. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

I just bought 2 v400s for my wife and I. The manual does not seem to help me much so I thought I would throw out a few questions and see if anyone can help me out.

1) What is the number to dial voicemail? Is it preprogrammed?

2) Is there a way I can program a phone number and just dial it by pressing one key.

3) Is there a way to set how quickly the phone looks for the network once it loses signal?

4) Is there a way to reduce having multiple names show up for the same person when you have entered different phones for the same person?

5) How do you call customer service on the phone?

if i take the v400 internationally and since the electricity is different, do i need a transformer to make it charge? or does it switch to European electricity automatically?

I'm trying to use PST 6.7 to upload games to my phone, but when it trys searching for my phone, an error pops up saying "Phone not connected. Please connect and power up the phone!" I'm pretty sure it's plugged in properly because Mobile Phone Tools works fine. I have Windows XP if that helps.

Ok so if Cingular merged or bought AT&T is there going to be better coverage on the western coast?
I was lookin on the map and it looks like there isnt as much coverage from colorado all the way west as much as there is on the middle/eastern part.

Okay, so since I picked up the V400 for my girlfriend and have played with it quite a bit... great phone, Moto really got it right on this one. I have 2 major complaints... one of which is more of a "I need help" item though. The ringers... okay, what the hell? Where can I get ringers as cool (or the actual ones) that are on the site advertised for this phone? The ringers suck, flat out.

The big question. Is there a trick to get this thing to work properly on AT&T. It has great signal, always has AT&T as the provider (have traveled out of state and it kept good ol' AT&T the whole way), can place calls just fine, but the biggest thing with this phone... BIG problem... it almost NEVER recieves calls and takes sometimes hours and even ...

Do I need to subscribe to Wireless Internet to download games from the Cingular webpage? If so, then I have to pay for the cost of the game and the cost of downloading it from Cingular?

I just got this phone, but my goodness do the ringtones stink. Eew. I had a Samsung e715 and I loved the ringtones they had. Do you know if you can download Samsung ringtones to this phone?
