I just ordered the v400 - thinking that the v600 is just extra $$ for features I won't use. Plus I heard of casing cracking problems with the v600.

Now I'm having second thoughts. Someone please reassure me - or convince me to send the 400 back and get the 600 instead.

I just got my info kit in for the v600 and while part of me could kick myself for buying a v400 just a month ago instead of waiting for the v600 with bluetooth, I don't like the look or feel of the v600 at all. The cover feels cheap and lesser quality, the keypad and buttons just don't show up well, and the finish is slick and hard to hold. Other than the bluetooth I don't see any advantages.

The only hardware differences between the v600 and v400 are a bluetooth chip and different external casing and button design. Other than that it's EXACTLY the same hardware-wise. For software it also has AIM, video playback, and a few of other small features over the v400. The thing is though, since they're identical internally other than the extra bluetooth chip, you can update the flexware on a v400 to the v600 flexware. It works the same, except if you try to use the bluetooth with your new v600 flexware it gives an error. Go figure. ;-)
I've been using my v400 with v600 flexware for a couple of months and haven't had the first problem. As a matter of fact, it fixed a file category problem I was having with my phone to begin with.
It is...
