Motorola V400

Hi I have bought a v400 and am using TMOBILE and I cannot get the MMS configurations working can someone please help me? I want to recieve pictures tomy phone and send them as well? Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated... Thanks

I got Cingular MMS to send ringtones and graphics to my phone. It works as far as sending polyphonic ringtones and graphics to and from my phone but it wont let me send MP3's from email to my phone. Ive edited the songs using SoundForge 6.0 and tried sending them at different qualities, ect, but it wont work. Does anyone know why, or how i can make this work? Can i use Audacity to edit and send ringtones with MMS?

Looking to replace my old NOKIA 7160 on the CINGULAR network. I'm just about sold on the V400.

But before making the switch, I would like to take a little poll from current V400 owners via a question.

That question is , what three (3) improvements would you like to see on the V400?

When I'm scrolling down through my phone book entries, are there page up/down buttons? I know if you punch in the first letter it will jump there, but I have so many J's...

Has anybody had problems with their v400 case cracking? I've heard reports that there have been problems with the v600, and maybe the v300. I haven't heard of problems with the v400 but the cases are similar enough...

my mobile phone tools works, but my pst wont work, so my midway wont work, and when i first installed pst my pc detected it as a modem, now its not detectable, ive reinstalled all the drivers and programs, but nothing work, can someone please help me

Just got the v400, and I'm pleased overall. I still find the Nokia's software a little easier to navigate (and faster), but oh well.

I have read some references to flexing the v400 to the v600, and one of the comments I read was that this seemed to improve the speed of the menus, as well as allow for video like the v600 as well.

Can anyone tell me what are some of the positives as well as the negatives that could happen if I decide to give flexing the v400 to the v600 a try? Also, will this unlock the phone from Cingular?

does anyone have the data cable for the v400, if so do u need a software cd for it. i bought the data cable and it isnt working. ☹️

Does the V400 support Text Zoom. I have the T720 which has this feature but I want to upgrade to the V400. However, I need a feature that allows for larger text. The eyes don't work like they used to. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks! Jack

I scratched mine. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? All of the faceplates I am finding online don't come with the external display cover.

i just got my v600 in store for $199.99 (they matched the current online price) that was on 4/1/04 and now the pice is at $179.99...wich is really awsome cause there is a great deal going on with the phone. but I'm starting to worrie about this phone comming out brand new and beeing so cheap...it makes me think that Motorola and at&t are just trying to get rid of them for some reason.... maybe b/c of the merger?...😕

if you want to know ur minutes used with ur cingular account.. key in *646# then send.. you should get a text message detailing ur usage.... have fun

For some reason I'm all of a sudden unable to get on the web with my V400, it says that my "browser setup is incomplete". Does anyone know what the settings should be? Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew how to or if it was even possible to access AIM express or AOL instant messanger from the v400. The only thing i can do is go online from my phone and sign on to yahoo messanger, however when i try to go to AIM it says no known IP address or something like that.

If anyone has any info, please lemme know!!
