Please explain what is flexing and why would a phone need flexing? Would flexing void the warranty?

My daughter dropped her phone in a lake
about 2 months ago...It stayed working up
until yesterday when she dropped it...I brought it to Cingular and they knew immediately that it was dropped in water because of a little white dot that turned
pinkish red...Is there any way of getting
that dot white again...Your help would be truly appreciated...

My dad just bought this phone and is headed to Europe in a few weeks and wants to find a charger he can use....not a transformer bc the smallest travel transformer we have been able to find is about 4 inches square and weighs about 4 lbs....anyone know where a charger would be available to order that would solve this problem? #1) Does the speakerphone work well? Do other people say that they cant hear you well??

#2) Is it true that you have to wait for someone to pick up to go to speakerphone or can you dial the number and then go ahead and hit speakerphone and listen ti it ring??

#3) Does it come with a belt-clip??

#4) Can you take a picture of someone and "attatch" it to a name in your phonebook and when that person calls, their picture pop up? If so, can it pop up on the OUTSIDE of the p...

I recently purchased a V400 for myself with Cingular - so far I love it except that I wish the hinge felt a little more solid. Seems to be okay so far though.

Anyway, my question is with respect to the travel charger provided (SPN5037A) and whether the "equivalent" OEM AC adapter I recently purchased from Eforcity (SPN4940) will damage my phone. While the input voltages/currents and output voltage of the two adapters are identical, the output current of the SPN5037A is 375 mA compared with 400 mA for the SPN4940.

I just got a V400 and used the MPT to upload some wallpapers on it, very happy with that.
On the same time I uploaded some sounds but I've been having problems with them.
I can upload a WAV file, and the phone will play it, but it won't let me choose is as a ring tone (i.e. the 'Apply as ring tone' option doesn't show when I select it, like it does on other existing MIDI and MP3 files on my phone).
I converted it to an MP3 (with bitrate=32Kbps) and uploaded that to the phone.
When I select the MP3, the option 'Apply as ring tone' does show up, but when I select to play the sound or show details on it, it says it is corrupted and asks me if I want to delete it.
So, is there something additional I should know about converting sounds to MP...

Hi, I want to get either this phone or a Samsung SGH-P107 and I wanted to know if this phone has a caller id, time, and date and if not does the Samsung SGH-P107 have these things.

I used the steps outlined earlier by Brettflan on a Win XP system to increase the volume of my V400 and it worked PERFECTLY! Finally! I can hear the caller even if there is background noise! I do recommend doing this on XP. It did not work on 98. The multiple (5 or 6) requests that XP makes for additional drivers (found in the p2kman drv folder) are important to get p2kman to recognize that the phone is connected. Win 98 makes no additional requests so p2kman will not know the phone is connected.

does ur phone or battery get messed up if u dropped it on the ground?

my v400 is impossible to hear from on the max volume (7). I have to push it to my ear really hard to hear the other person. The phone is only 2 months old.. do any of u have that problem? or is mine just defected.

Is this a good phone in size of height, weight, and depth, or is it too big and clunky??? Can it fit in your hand/pocket/purse nicely??

Does this have a sim card??

Does the keypad light up blue?? What color does the external display light up?

Can i use this for att service, and get all the features?? Where do u buy unlocked phones or get the unlock code??

I tried to install mobile phone tools. I keep getting the following message:

"Please insert the disc with file Data\Aboutn.ini"

I see the file in the folder, but I can't seem to get it to recognize it. What am I doing wrong? I am forced to cancel installation because it can't load the file.

with all of the stuff from your website i can make mp3 ringtones, but i only have 1 problem, i do no know how to make thm small enough to upload onto wap.rousso.net, all of the ones i have made are huge...any suggestions or help?

I was at the all employee meeting for AT&T Wireless in the northeast last week, and the Motorola rep let me know that the V400 is on our roadmap.

Um...yay?

Why? AT&T already has the V600 and it's almost anti climatic. I doubt it will even be $100 cheaper too, knowing the pricing structure.

But, hope this excites someone.
