Can't Muster the Energy

I feel so crappy today I can't even muster the energy to work on my knitting loom... They've got us all in my department moved over to take calls for the slackers in Telesales because they can't treat people well enough to keep them around and give them enough incentive to do a few extra hours today... so that department is like 23-29 agents available but the 9 of us are CRITICAL to their call times... RIGHT.

I'm seriously considering just walking out. PNUEMONIA is a great reason to not put up with this crap... the throbbing migraine and inability to breath are bad enough, having to deal with somebody else's problem isn't making it any better.

why is it that...

when you yawn while people are walking by your kiosk they comment about how you're yawning at work but when you sneeze while people are walking by they don't say "bless you"?

Wow, it's a miracle

I just dealt with a large, mean German lady for almost half an hour. Did you know that phones can spontaneously break in half *while a person is talking on the phone*? It's amazing! Of course she doesn't have insurance but the damage should be covered under warranty. Sorry ma'am but physical damage is most definitely NOT covered. But it's not her fault, the phone just broke clean in half as she was talking on it, plus she bought it at a truck stop (whaaaaaat?) and had to spend $250 so we need to stop ripping her off and just give her a new phone. Sprint sucks and she has had to buy 6 different bluetooth headsets and none of them work and our phones just don't last and they shouldn't break in half in four months and her son has Cingular and h...

Blizzard+Super Bowl=People paying bills???

There's a 3 car pileup, 2 firetrucks, and an ambulance in front of my store right now. There's a foot of snow on the ground, the roads aren't plowed, and it's super bowl sunday. Why is there a steady stream of people coming to pay bills??? Hasn't anyone heard of online bill pay?

I'm all for closing down shop right now so we can all start drinking, eating, and watching the pre game. Who's with me?

Our location is one of the lucky ones

And I might be one of the lucky 5000. Yep, we're getting closed down next month. We *might* have jobs at the store across town, but I'm not holding my breath. My boss can't give us any answers so I guess we just get to wait in suspense for a month. Fun.

they're all so smart...

i just had a couple come up to get two lines... came back with $400 deposits for each line...

now they're at the jewelry store next to me and it looks like they've been approved and are shopping away...

i guess they don't care what they buy, they just want to consume products... it's the american way!

How about you? Would you do this?

Just had a call from someone wanting a leather case for her phone. No problem. Except that she wanted me to mail it to her...she is local..I said no, only if out of state. She said "shoot! I was hoping your company would do that since it is so cold outside. I don't feel like leaving my house."

Yes, lady. Since it is sooo cold outside all businesses convert to mail order only. WTF!? I had to drag my happy ass out of my warm bed to be here and answer stupid calls like thisand deal with retards like you all day. Now you need to suck it up and drive your lazy ass in here. 👿

Wow, talk about pushing your luck

Guy and girl come in.

Guy: We are eligable for an upgrade, she was looking for a razor and i was looking for the sam D807.

Me: Ok

Guy: Do you know of a way we can get both of those for free?

Me: No

(that would total out at about -$200.00 in GP) 🙄

Its nearly as bad as the girl that thought she deserved a free Treo750 on an upgrade!

Now Hiring-You won't get hired

So at my work we are located on a busy corner and we have a big sign on our store that says now hiring! Call (insert name) at 555-xxxx. We get people all day long that say things like this.

"So I see your hiring can I get an application"
-It says call the person on the sign not come in today dude!

"They call my store(not the number on the sign) Yeah I turned in my resume, is so and so there I want to schedule an interview"

Well....I don't know how to put this, but your resume probably sucked if he never got back to you.

I hate being the person that has to deal with all these people. We had a guy today that had to have been 65. I wanted to tell him that he couldn't keep up with the industry but I guess I am too nice to be honest....

Don't you love it when...

... customers that you have never seen come in huffing and puffing with a bag in their hand?

🙄

All they are rude and not understanding. And most of the time they want to make a return on a product we didn't sell and can't return.

Verizon Advice Needed!!!

I have a consumer account with Verizon that I want to cancel as soon as possible. I saw a website called "The Consumerist" that gives advice on how to cancel without an early termination fee due to the increase in txt msging charges.

I called to try to cancel the other day and they told me they couldn't do it until the March 1st change date. That seems to run contrary to the paperwork, but the supervisor said she noted my account and gave me a direct line that I could call her on to have her cancel them without ETF after receiving a higher priced txt msg on March 1st. DOES THAT SOUND REALISTIC OR LIKELY? WILL I BE ABLE TO GET OUT W/O PAYING AN ETF?

Phonebook transfer software/hardware

Our Datapilot has crapped out on us. We need a new program/hardware to use in the store to trasnfer phonebooks for our customers.

I've heard of a few others but cannot recall any names.

Can anyone give out a few names of the stuff you use in your store or even link to the site to purchase some corporate kits?

Thanks!

Any Sprint rep wanna help me out?

Hey all. Long story short, I was a victim of Fraud, and after 4 failed attempts to sign up with SERO, I was able to do it. I had my brother sign up, then do a transfer of liability info my name.

It took about a month, and constant buck-passing between InPhonic, and Sprint.

I'm not asking for much, but I would like to get some free texts for my trouble. I bet I'm sounding stuck up, and coming off as one of "those" customers who ask the world for no reason at all, but I don't think I'm one of them.

Anyway, if you would like to help out, and lend me a hand, I would appreciate it.

I have already called Sprint, and they don't want to do much for me besides for throw me a one-time offer of 100 free texts, but I would like something tha...
