Most number of texts seen on a customer account.

I want to know what everyone's record for text messages sent and received was for ONE MONTH - that you have personally seen on a customer account. No hearsay. Just facts. If I wasn't behind a proxy I'd send a screenshot I saved of the record I've personally seen.

I'm just saying this because The "old" record in one month was 12,560.

The NEW record is...

18,989!

It was a 12 year old boy with an LG ENV. And his phone was actually in pretty good shape. The phone looked pretty new actually, which is a testament to the phone itself.

His 3-month average was 16,xxx (I don't remember the details on that.)

Wow.

Laid Off ... But Wait!!!

On Friday we were told our store would be closing and we had an option of getting a severance package or transferring to another store - We all selected to take the severance package - Then today - I come in and was told that out of the people that are in the store - One of us has to stay and transfer to anther store that has an opening

After 5 days had already passed and we have all made plans to do other things - We were told that one of us has to stay behind and not get severance and continue working for the company! - This was decided on Monday and the one selected has YET to be notified - What is up with that?

IT'S MESSED UP!!!!!!!!

They will never stop

coming into my store!!! I activated their 3 lines last week..and as i had posted before they will not stop coming in and calling. Today they come in and say we need you to check our minutes we think our grandson has gone crazy and been talking alot! Which i showed them multiple times how to do #pmt but they dont get it. So I check and they have used.................24 out of their 700 minutes!!!!!!! and they took their grandsons phone away from him b/c they were so mad b/c they thought he used all the minutes. Will it ever stop?!?!

Babysitter

I don't remember reading in my job description that I was a babysitter. I swear these damn kids have been coming in and out all day. Trying to get free stuff and just annoying me. They leave and come back with more kids. I really wish parents wouldn't just drop their stupid kids off at the mall to cause mayhem unsupervised.

Question for Indirect Employees

I work for an indirect agent in a mall with 2 other stores selling the same carrier, one of them is corporate. I'm sure you all have heard the question "Whats the difference between you and the other store?", referring to corporate. What do you guys usually respond with?

I got a call from Samsung Rewards today...

I was getting my oil changed when some woman named Amy called me from Samsung Rewards today. She said that she needed to verify a sale that I had reported this past tuesday on the new Samsung Rewards site. She asked me to fax a copy of the invoice to her. Since i'm off today i wasnt able to do this obviously. I told her that i'd be back at work tomorrow and I'd call her back to get the fax number from her.

I was wondering if anyone else had gotten a call like this today or any other day since the new site has gone back up. I'm wondering if this is thier way of verifying legitimate Samsung phone sales.

Anyone else get a call from her or someone else claiming to be from Samsung Rewards.

Lost phones....hahaha...

Customer in here today..

Phone was "stolen" denied ins when she activated...Has been told that unfortunately she will have to pay outright for a new phone...and we do not carry any refurbished phones...

She starts crying and yelling "if nobody wants to help me i will just call and cancel..."

Me: đŸ˜ŗ 🙄 Ma'am we have given you options. No we cannot put the price of the replcement phone on your bill. It is payable here in the store. And we have told you where you can get a refurbished phone...ie another store that sells them.

C: I can't believe you all....i want customer service..

Me: no prob. let's get them on the line...



Mind you i have already checked to see if she could add a line and get a phone that way.........

Customer walks in

Me: good morning welcome to sprint how may i help you?

Cust: I wanted to get an upgrade and i called sprint and they told me to come to the store and get whichever phone i want and it would be free.

Me: ok lets jus start by making sure you qualify for an upgrade before we get to the phones.

**while i start my system customer roams around and grabs the treo 800 and asks: " I want this for free"

ME: ok sir i'm checking your upgrade as we speak and if you do qualify for the ful discount that phone is 300 and u get 100 mail in rebate

Customer(angrily): u must be crazy if u think im gonna pay 300 for a phone.

**so after checking his upgrade i find out he does not qualify for a discount** o crap here i go

My rant for the day

Ok so customer comes in yesterday with a water damaged phone, does not have insurance, but is up to upgrade.

Customer: I need a phone that vibrates

Ok...all phones vibrate now adays

I show him our selection of phones, and he decides to go with a free phone.

Calls back an hour after leaving the store, saying that the phones vibrate is not good enough.

I tell the customer about our 30 day policy and told him about a phone that I think would really fits his needs. But its 69.99 before rebate.

Customer: What??? I've been a customer for a million years, and I've never had to pay for a phone.

Ok sir, bring back your phone, and we'll look at some of the other free phones we have.

He comes back today, saying how much he hat...

How many of you use a competitors service?

I work with VZW, but I use AT&T service. I saw a few of you mention it over time, so I just wanted to see if others work for one company, but use another.

F Sprint

I am an indirect dealer and i use a system called Sprint, Nextel Activation Program (S.N.A.P). Well for the past 3 weeks, every credit check i run comes up as 0 lines avail., forcing me to call Sprint Credit Center. Out of the 31 credit apps weve run weve had 18 $500 deposits, 9 $200 deposits, and 4 no service avail.. How the f(k am i supposed to sell when i cant physically sell???? ne 1 else have this prob? The only commision im pulling at this point is upgrades, and accessories.Bs

I've been watching CNN and the weather channel and for some reason I feel sorry for the people that stayed and have no electricity

is there any reports of any problems with cellular service in southern TX, I work for USCC and we don't have coverage down there so nothing here.

I hate ramblers

this guy comes in every month and asks for his balance, then goes to payment station at a different dtore to pay it. recently "his girlfiend" has run the bill up going over minutes, so suggested to him last month that he should suspend it so she couldnt and the bill would settle down, but he would still have to pay for it! he interpreted that as, I don' have to pay anything, cool. and then rambles about everything in his life. Finally rhis month he finally wants to cancel. much better off for everyone I must say... Now we don;t have to waste time Bsing with im about vietnam and the color of the girls eyes in the store, or how all women want is money--but then take it back and say you can't live without her... OH MAN... I AM SO HAPPY N...

I absolutely hate it when people assume that I speak spanish just because I LOOK hispanic


Some older hispanic couple came in friggin' yelled at me for not speaking spanish.

Some Customers

I had a customer with children come in. Many Children...

Anywho mid sale...I just can't take it and don't care bout the comm anymore so I decide to say. Customer I need you to take a moment and correct your children; I cannot have them running al around and destroying my store. Assist them then I can assist you.

So. Can I bring a paintball gun to work and jsut discipline them if they move from the waiting area? do you think that'd be cool?

â˜šī¸ I hate being here on a Sat...let alone it is slow. I don't mind as much when i am making some $$$ but when we have 0 customers...it makes for a long day!!!
