WHY DO THEY NOT LISTEN????

The accessories in the new store i am working in are expensive. $30 for a car charger...etc..

I have had two customers today walk because all they needed was a car charger and did not want to pay that much for it. They are lifetime warrantied but lets face it....not many people care about that...all that matters is "How much do i have to pay today?"

That's just low...

I take a sup call for one of my reps. Lady yelling and crying at me on the phone because she had gone way over her minutes, and 'couldn't afford' to pay for them. We offered her a full rework on her account if she just changed plans to a higher one. Over $500 bucks she could get off her bill. She declined it and wants everything. She argues with me over the fees and won't give up. Then she tells me the 'truth'.

She says that because her father had just died, she was calling tons of people and receiving calls way much more than she normally would. I put her on hold to review her account, maybe be a nice guy (for once). I empathized with her because I just had a string of deaths in my family. I know how she was feeling.

I waived the ch...

Almost laughed myself out of my seat.

Customer ordering a T-mobile phone.

We're delivering it to his work address.

Our Verifications Team (chortling) asks me to confirm the business name (We always have to do this for business deliveries.)

Guess... oh guess where he works.

AT&T Call Center Reps. in Washington

Do ya'll seriously make between $11.75 and $14.00 an hour? My friend is trying to get a job and I think shes nuts for even attempting to join the wireless world. This girl has worked for McDonalds and for a carwash and has no sales experience and tends to have a temper with people so I just see her getting fired in the first week.

I just hate people

So other than wanting to severely injure my room mate I generally just hate people today.

(yes, whine whine whine, cry cry cry, you can go die in a fire jerkface, I don't give a d@mn)

I asked four times to confirm the address we delivered the original phone to. I don't want to know that you've moved, what your new address is, what your mom's address is, that you had the bill sent to your cuzin because you were moving or that you are currently on vacation. ALL I WANT is to have you tell me what address we shipped the phone to. I'm not doing anything else until you do.

Next

I did not ask for the UPS tracking number, we've established that you do not have it. That's fine, I can do other searches, do you have an order number. Ye...

Why are ppl so lazy?

Why is it that, even though I explain to customers that we are NOT a service center at all, they get upset when we state that we can't fix their phone for them? 😕 I offer all kinds of solutions to their problem, including driving to the service center that is 5 mins down the road. However, they "can't believe what a terrible inconvience it is for them and how when they were at (insert random carrier name here), they just gave them a phone." đŸ‘ŋ They always use that threat like it's going to get something accomplished, if anything, it ends up having the reverse effect.

Anybody else have problems like that? What do you guys do when someone like this comes into your store? 😕

ATT Coverage

Anyone know how correct the coverage map is on ATT website? Every other carrier says low signal at my house but ATT says that it has best coverage at my address. Verizon is even waiving my ETF because they cannot provide me with good signal. I am just afraid that I switch over and have no signal with ATT as well. I know about 30 day test period but if anyone has any idea please let me know.

FYI My zip is 48363 and I am a PDA person.

Criminal negligence ???

I am one of the hundreds who received this email tonight. I have taken out the names, but am I allowed to be a little pissed that I could have been blown up because our director doesn't want to loose productivity? Is this not criminal?
Below is the email*****

Hello people, For any of you that knew me I wanted to say good-bye and I hope the very best for you all. First things first....Verizon Wireless has the responsibility to provide you a safe working environment. Two weeks ago we had a bomb threat at the Albuquerque Call Center that was called in to our Chandler IMT office, The POC supervisor had been alerted to this and recommended that we evacuate the call center until it was safe for us to return back to work. He was told NO by our...

What is wrong with some people?

As im sitting in my in-line store I happen to over hear a few customers as they walk up my hall and passed my store.

Child:"Wow, thanks for bringing me to the mall Mom!"

Mother:"You're welcome, what would you like to do first?"

C:"I just want to go to ..... bookstore and read all day!"

M:"You want to waste your whole day at the mall reading stupid books?"

C:"Ya, but I guess we can do what you want to do...(completely bummed)"

Nature vs. Nurture : if the kid ends up having the IQ of a pickle jar, its completely the mothers fault.

Anybody else have stories of parents teaching their kids to be stupid?

CEVA is stealing the shipments sent by samsung rewards to participants

CEVA keeps making excuses every time I call, they say that my TV's and other things are on hold by Amazon.com. We all know that Amazon has nothing to do with this issue, Samsung rewards buys all or most of the merchandise from Amazon.com, thats it! After talking to Ceva about my orders that were supposed to be delivered by no 08/21/2008. I just called Samsung Rewards and they said that the items were delivered on the 21st of August, and i told them they werent, Samsung is now conducting an invastigation to find out where the 2 40" Tv's are. I called CEVA againg today Sept 9, 2008 and they keep giving me the same story. Someone from samsung rewards will be contacting me tomorrow to see where my TV's are. Please help me out here. tomtom

I just had this guy come in who wanted a phone that is compatible with his tomtom gps unit. My first initial three reactions were wtf?

I then went to tomtom.com/phone and apparently there are phones that sync up with tomtom gps units. Why? Well apparently you can transfer sms and contacts to the gps unit and you can have both. Here is where question marks raise in my head.

WHO THE **** NEEDS A GPS UNIT THAT CAN STORE STUFF FROM THE PHONE WHEN THEIR PHONE CAN RUN ITS OWN FREE GPS?!?!?!

I mean WTF. You want GPS in your car? Third party software on a phone with a GPS chip = free. You want GPS when you're walking around downtown? Take the phone with you. It makes no sense to transfer stuff into a unit which is designed for the car. In ...

Plaza Walkers

So there are always old guys just walking around our plaza. I think they must be retired or unemployed. Either way, they walk around all day bored with nothing to do. They are like real old mall rats.

I have now learned that if you make eye contact while they walk by, they will come in and waste your time. If I see them coming, I have to stare at the computer screen to make sure they don't come in. If they catch so much as a glimpse of you looking up, they immediately head for the door and come in for "small talk".

If they were actually customers, I wouldn't mind. Instead, they are just bored old men. I actually feel bad for them. Anyone else have this kind of thing happening?
