Fraudsters rock.

So customer calls in, wants to activate some relic of a phone, on an account with fraud warnings all over it. Per team coach instruction ('This guy's a fraudster.' 'Do it anyway.') I activate his phone, and we program it. He claims it doesn't work. ('Don't you have another code, maybe, that we could try?' 'Please hold.') Those of you who have seen KMS know Sprint apprently frowns on handing out the MSL. I call the contact number for the account, reach Stacey, who informs me that there's no way this call is legit. A quick call to a painfully clueless fraud agent removed the new line, and I informed my criminal friend I had spoken to Stacey ('Who?' 'Your coworker!').

The loud cursing and fumbled hangup were priceless. I love my job.

Is it just me?

Evey customer I've had has been in a god awful hurry. No I can't do anything while you go pick up your mom from the doctor, no I can't do it over the phone, because you do have time to come in.

Contracts take a good 20 minutes to get everything set up, and god forbid if something goes wrong with your system and you have to call it in and do a manual.

Calm down people , I have to go everything with you, so YOU don't come back and say "well you didn't tell me that" thats why I like the little boxes where they have to inital saying that I DID tell them about the ETF, Pay as you go internet usage/ txt mess.

and the more you complain about its taking too long, the more time I'm gonna take...yeah kinda bit(hy but I don't care. You peopl...

Insurance question... intentional damage?

Just out of curiosity...

I know intentional damage isn't covered by insurance, so if I get mad at my boyfriend and throw my phone and break it, it's not covered.
But what if he gets mad at me and throws my phone? Is it still considered intentional damage if it was HIS intention and not mine?

funny call

cci today stating she never surfed the web on her phone (casual data overage on her statement) and that she doesn't have the ringtone listed on her bill. while reviewing the usage history, she called from a lan line, i put my mute box on. she recieved a call on her sprint phone and it was the ring tone she stated she didn't download. needless to say i didn't do **** for her. after i told her i could hear the ring tone she was calling in about she tried to say that it wasn't her phone she answered lol

This is a WAR- long

I'm sure there's a lot of animosity between every single department of every single company. i'm in retail sales at an indirect store. I'm going to list the reasons why I hate different departments.

Customer Care- I've pretty much got the script you say when I call in memorized. So, I know the questions ahead of time. "Yes my name is Steve ******, let me spell my name slowly before you ask me" Why do you keep asking me to spell it over and over when it's really not that hard. Once, maybe twice I can see, but 4 times is pushing it. Also, I have already troubleshooted the phone and know the specific reason I am calling in 99% of the time. So, when I tell you the phone has a duplicate IMEI on the account, and even tell you how to fix...

This old guy

wants to know about the blue tooth headsets. I'm going to skip the chaos of the dash mount one and jump forward to the ear pieces.

He asks if the phone has to be turned on for the ear piece to work. Obviously. I ask why he would want to use it if the phone was off. After meandering around he says it is on when he opens it but it is off when he closes it. I say no, it's not off, that's why the screen on the outside is still lit up. Anyway he got really embarassed and decided not to buy anything which is fine cause it was entertaining.

Autobiography Cover

Ok, so the other night we were WAY bored and way tired and started making Autobiography book covers for each other.

Some of the titles were...

"Homeless in America: The Life of **** *****"

"My first restraining order: The **** **** Story." (featuring a picture of two hands in handcuffs)

"I relapsed: The True Story of **** ****"

"12th DUI: The Life and Times of **** ****" (the picture was a large car plowing through a bunch of bikes... bikes flying everywhere)

"I love Booze: The **** **** Story" (possibly the best picture of the lot, a young lady sitting on a toilet with a garbage can in her lap, her face in the can.)

Mine was

"I lost a bet: The Life of Nikoletta Windby"

and featured a picture of a person wearing a ...

How do you nicely

tell customers to STOP CALLING AND STOP COMING INTO YOUR STORE!!!?!?! Ok so I activated 3 lines for a customer, and they have called at least 3 times a day and came in at LEAST once a day with questions. Which is fine, but its getting to the point where I am getting aggravated. They got phones for themselves and one for their grandson. Well they call or come in to ask how many texts he has done...they just got the phone TWO DAYS AGO!!! At first grandma got a 385 then she decides she wants the envy2 so she can learn how to use it so she knows how to snoop thru her grandsons envy2. She isnt even going to text. She spent 80 more dollars just to learn how to get around her g-sons phone. Today my day starts out with her calling asking questions a...

Gahh customer service whyyyy!!!

Is it just me, or do any other store reps get so incredibly frustrated with customer service that they want to rip their hair out? ๐Ÿ˜ณ

For example, customer comes in saying "i spoke with someone in customer service, look at the notes....we're upgrading ๐Ÿคจ "

:::i look at the account::: ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

The customer has 5 lines ALL of which are INELIGIBLE for upgrade but customer care notates "offered customer upgrades on all lines and all these BS credits yadda yadda yadda."

Dear Customer Service,
If you want to make that offer to a customer, PROCESS IT YOURSELF! Do not send me anymore customers with incorrect expectations. You are NOT my boss, I WILL NOT honor something just because some care rep said to. HELLO GOALS/COMMISSION/WAS...

Uh... ok

So my coworker is running credit for an old woman. We have to ask for a home number/contact number.

"Can I have your home phone number?"

C: ***-***-****. It used to be ***-***-***, which was my old cell phone number, but now it's ***-***-***.

Why would anyone need to throw all of the miscellaneous information in there?

People.... ๐Ÿ™„

Bill Payments

They really bother me. They make up about 65% of the traffic we see in my store, (I know because I've tracked it) and it just really bothers me.

"Hi there! Is there anything we can help you with today?"

"I just need to pay my bill"

All day this happens and it juts gets on my nerves. Especially when they pay with a Check or Credit card. People, send your check in the mail, pay your bill on-line or over the phone with your card. There is no need for you to waste your gas driving up here to pay your bill.

I feel like I'm working at McDonalds when people come in and line up in front of my pod to pay their bills.

I am a SALES REPRESENTATIVE, not an order taker. Sorry, just had to get that out.
