Almost laughed myself out of my seat.
Customer ordering a T-mobile phone.
We're delivering it to his work address.
Our Verifications Team (chortling) asks me to confirm the business name (We always have to do this for business deliveries.)

That's not really all that uncommon, especially if he or she works for an Indirect dealer, or maybe they are new to AT&T and hven't gotten their employee line yet.
I've seen this a bunch of times, and I have even workd with a few people here that did not have a T-Mobile phone.
It's still pretty funny though. 🙂

had a co worker at att and he had metropcs. to try out the new service at the time guess.
a very good way to know the competition.
i sell att and carry sprint. 1st reason is in store insurance. 2nd is still under contract. 3 love my phone (mogul) absolutely no problems with it and waiting on the diamond touch or touch pro. not knock att. oh yes i get free incomming minutes!! 😁

I know, right? Key corp account for Sprint - AT&T Broadband. Different department, sure, but we still do that entire department's phones.

In Maine, US Cellular is king because none of the national companies have made any real investment in the rural 3/4 of the state north of Portland.
When the T-mobile kiosk here opened, all the sales people were told they had to keep their phones hidden under the counter if they weren't T-Mobile. No one at that kiosk wears a phone on duty.
