what a snot

Just had a lady and her husband come up to my kiosk with her husband. Before I can even greet her, she cuts me off to ask: "Is this a actual Verizon store?"

M: Yes, we sell Verizon. What can I help you with? 🙂

C: No I mean are you real. Owned by Verizon?\

M: Actually, we're owned by ___________. We deal only in Verizon though. Is there something in particular I can help you with? 🙂

C: (snottily) No I just wanted to know. For future reference. (glares and walks away)

B*tch. WHY do people not REALIZE that retailers compose like 80 something percent of Verizon stores nationwide? Sometimes I wish I could see what it was like if all the retailers nationwide shut down for a week and these snotty, "only-like-corporate" customer...

WALMART, RADIO SHACK...etc

This for most not all but still most of the reps from walmart, target, radio shack, and sams club. Granted some of yous do have atleast some idea about what you are talking about but over all you are clue less on the wireless industry. you know almost nothing about your competors and don't care about the customer once the sale is done. All of your company's wireless dept should be closed dowen and should just go back to what you know how to do. And if your reading this please stop go to the glossary section and do some freken home work do your selfs, the customer's, and the rest of the wireless world that small favor 😎

hatin on company policy

So there's been this phone out for 3 years now, everyone wants (obviously not everyone but close). We have to tell customer after customer that we don't carry it, go to walmart/online/corp stores. It has hurt business obviously, and morale is way down.

Well, we finally get said phone and they are paying us a whopping $2.25 per phone. I sell anything and make more than that, including car chargers! They won't even pay us for the data package. WTF?!

Do you think we will sell more of this phone? Hell no! Do you think I will say anything to spite this phone, the people who make it, and the provider that makes money on it? Hell no.

I have taken to the policy that the customer has to sell me on why I should sell them the phone. I have tol...

seriously....

you come back to my store with attitude saying I didn't give you any of the right things that come with the phone.

Then when you say I gave you the wrong charger and I check, you have been trying to charge it through the headphone space!?

If you would have just looked on the other side you would have noticed there was an entry point that looks exactly the same that doesn't have a grey rubber cover with HEADPHONES on it. 👿 👿

I just love it

when someone calls my store and asks for a competitor's phone number, then gets angry that I don't know it. WHY WOULD I KNOW THEIR NUMBER? I don't care if their number is not in the phonebook. Go to the store, or try looking online. DON'T call my company and get crappy with me when I don't know how to contact them. I should have referred them to my company's customer service. 😡

funny story

We just had a customer come in with a samsung impression that wasn't working. We pulled the back off and it showed water damage. The mom asked her daughter how it got wet and she responded "I licked the LDI to see if worked"

FAIL!

Why is it...

That people think I can pull their account up by just their last name?

Probably the same reason they try the door the second time after it was locked the first time, all the lights are off, the open signs are off and it's before the store hours that are clearly posted 6 inches from their freakin skull.

Entitlement

It seems like every single customer that walks up to my kiosk thinks that they are entitled to get whatever they want.

The worst are the customers that start off with "I am a new customer and if you want my business you need to give me whatever I want" and then come back later to add lines and complain that they don't get anything special for being an existing customer.

Even worse was a customer that was complaining about having to pay for usage controls (a feature we charge for because it actually costs us money) and said "you people need to stop worrying about making money and start giving us the stuff we want" I am sorry but we are a business. We are here to make money. If we don't make money we close down and then your pretty t...

Customer ordered phone online

and was upset becuase no one told her that the phone she was getting was not capable of video and music. Wow. I guess she didn't see the online chat option. She also said that there should have been something on our website that listed the features of the phone. Really? 🙄

It's bad when.....

the customer hits on you through the phone....

I do get compliments on my voice [maybe thats the problem]...but still..

I actually had one guy say that he wanted to repay me in person. He kept saying "I wish I could repay you in person, you know what I mean?"...

"yes sir I know what you mean...have a nice day." 😕

Or,

There was one from New Jersey....he told me his entire life story [his 2 divorces and his kids, his parents and how they loved each other] then said that he could come and see me, that he could treat me really good...

He was older than my father..........eww... 😳

SO! Anybody else have this problem? 😁

Stupid Customers

Customer: (while looking at wall of phones) Do you sell phones here?

Me: No, but we do sell answers to stupid questions. That will be $15 please.

I never had a customer ask me this question before but I've heard it now 3 times week!
