So when it says this data plan is required does that mean I have to get it?

To the girl from an ATT call center in Luisianna...
I recieved a phone call one evening from a girl who at first refused to tell me who she was, she said she had talked to me earlier and thought my voice was cute.
yeah, she worked for AT&T customer care down in luisianna. we exchanged myspace pages (mysace was popular back then) and I don't think we ever talked again.

Activation fee on Sprint
If that is the case, I'm going to recommend to all customers to go to a store to get the new phone (or upgrade) and call in and request the activation be waived claiming a store rep told them it would be. Maybe the policy will either be rethought or they'll get rid of the activation fee altogether. Either way, it will be great fun when the care reps get blocked from doing adjustments because of all the activation fees being waived.
