What's the most frequent dumb question or statement you hear?

Mine is definitely
So when it says this data plan is required does that mean I have to get it?

soemtimes they even say the dumbest statement of all...

When it says requires data pack does that mean it's required to have the data pack?

I hear this at least 10 times a day on my chats.

if I hear....

one more effing person walk into this store and say "do you sell phones here?", i am going to kill them. really? you just walked into a store that clearly has Verizon plastered all over it and phones sitting around everywhere and you have to ask if we sell phones? what do you think we do here? sit on our butts and look pretty? gah...

Customer "You guys are all one big monopoly and thats why I'm never going to buy a cell phone"

Me, "Sir, there are over a dozen carriers in the US alone I can assure you, we are not a monopoly"

Customer "Well you're all a bunch of rip-offs. I can't believe you want 40.00 a month! F**** a**holes..."

Why is it that people think they can walk up to your kiosk/store and spout profanities at you? WTF????

Bathroom Break

The other day i had to go to the bathroom, so i went into an aux, went into the bathroom, not even a minute later a manager comes in and yells my name ๐Ÿ˜ฒ , i was like "WHAT" and they had asked if i was in there ๐Ÿคค , i had told them i was. Then when i came out i got a lecture about break times, i told this manager next time i have to go im gonna use a trash can then, The manager looked me straight in the face and said "well you do what you have to do"........ ๐Ÿ˜ฒ ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

bill to account?

Customer chats in saying she just paid her $435 bill that was WAY over due and wants to know why she can't bill to account. She says she's been a loyal customer and deserves the same privilages everyone else gets. Most people can't bill to account... ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

When we have a que of calls then people complain about how long thay have to wait.

To the girl from an ATT call center in Luisianna...

I don't know why I remember this now, of all times... but a long time ago, before I ever worked for the evil cell phone company I had AT&T (still do, love my iPhone... but I digress)

I recieved a phone call one evening from a girl who at first refused to tell me who she was, she said she had talked to me earlier and thought my voice was cute.

yeah, she worked for AT&T customer care down in luisianna. we exchanged myspace pages (mysace was popular back then) and I don't think we ever talked again.

Have any of you guys ever stalked someone you talked to on the phone?????? just curious, it happened to me!

international travel...

cust: i went to china & i wasn't able to use my phone there one time & i want to be credited for the time that i wasn't able to call out.


me: i'm sorry sir but china is not in our coverage area & i am not permitted to credit airtime for an international location.

cust: well why not? my phone was working just fine before i went to china & mine was the only one out of millions that wasn't working!

me: as i stated before sir, that's not our coverage area. we're not responsible for another country's network & your inability to place calls while you're there. there may have been issues with their coverage at the time that you were trying to use your phone but that's a guesstimation as again that is not our network!

Activation fee on Sprint

Rumors are about in my center that soon Sprint policy for the call centers will be if a customer calls in saying that a store told them the activation fee will be waived that it needs to be waived.

If that is the case, I'm going to recommend to all customers to go to a store to get the new phone (or upgrade) and call in and request the activation be waived claiming a store rep told them it would be. Maybe the policy will either be rethought or they'll get rid of the activation fee altogether. Either way, it will be great fun when the care reps get blocked from doing adjustments because of all the activation fees being waived.

I didn't pay my phone bill

The Stasi didn't go away, they just moved to call centers.

So we just had a guy taking pictures of people's desks that had food or beverage on it. Apparently it'll be used to write people up.

Freaking disgusting.

If you treat your employees like this, what does that say about you as an employer? Do you feel any shame packing a DSLR around and taking pictures of people working?

So sick of this place.

Cell phones fry your brain - customer

Just had a guy say that when he holds a phone to his head his eye will twitch and his head goes numb after a while. I suggested a bluetooth or to get rid of the cell phone.

I've heard of this as a cell phone allergy, but that doctors say its B.S.

I really wanted to say that but who knows, guess we'll see.
