Re: Will this work on Sprint/T-mobile?

in the Article: Asus ROG Phone 3 Pushes Specs Higher for Gaming forum

The ROG II does work on Tmobile or AT&T but not Sprint or Verizon because of their CDMA network. The only problem with the ROG II is it did not support VoLTE for AT&T or Tmobile so when either shuts down their 3G networks in the couple of years, VoLTE would be required for all phone calls. XDA has guides for enabling but you would need to root your phone. ROG III should be the same but no telling ...

I know it's got 1500 MAH but I had a full charge, live in a 4G area with full bars, didnt use the phone over night and it dropped to 48% by morning. It survived 40 mins of Pandora and the rest of the day without calls, text or e-mail, I just wonder if it's common.

How long before Voyager's launch did we know about it?? No leaks, no FCC, etc on a Voyager 2. I spoke to an LG rep and he said Verizon has everything on lock down. He knows what coming for Sprint and AT&T all the way to 1Q09 but doesn't know anything about 4Q08 VZW. He heard of the 9600 but knew nothing about it.

It works like every other Blackberry, if you have a question, ask your IT Department. It works with Blackberry Enterprise Servers, Outlook OWA, POP3, IMAP, or an Outlook Redirector program can be installed on your computer. The OWA, POP3 and IMAP just does e-mail wirelessly, but you can use a USB/Bluetooth to sync Calendar/Contacts/Memos/Tasks.

AT&T has US exclusivity on the Bold (whenever that is released). Verizon has US exclusivity on the Storm The only phones that are not exclusive beyond a 3-6 month time frame is the New Pearl (Codename Kickstart for GSM and Apex for CDMA) and the New Curve (Codename Javelin for GSM and Niagara for CDMA). The Storm is a lifetime exclusive so with news of RIM's R&D working on Storm 2 & 3... those will be Verizon phones as well.

I free Storm on VZW will be a big F.U. to the Naysayer and the iPhone elitist. Better e-mail Better messaging Better Camera/Camcorder Better Touchscreen and best of all Free with a 2 yr contract? Why bother with the pearl and curve? This pricing point may be nice, but unlikely at launch atleast. I could see it going that way if you were a switcher and were mailed a promotion. Free phone to those that left VZW for the iPhone and now have gotten over ...

Since this is a competitor to the iPhone 3G lets take somethings into consideration. iPhone 3G works it's 3G magic in about 40% of the US Population and you still have to pay the $30 3G data plan not matter how you connect or where you are located. You could live in a 3G-less city(there are alot of them), use wifi or EDGE all day long but have to pay $10 more then the 1st Gen iPhone that does the ...

It's that policy that can be misread on Replacement of Lost/Stolen/Damaged phones. I.E. if they don't have insurance and not eligible to update, sell them a phone at 1 yr pricing. Yup, the product is very misleading since T-mobile beat Verizon to the punch. T-mobile can even use this on Blackberry's... Verizon cannot. The service is flawed too. You can add a blocked # on your list to prevent your daughter from calling her boyfriend forever, but she could just dial the 7 digit number or call 411 to call connect her to call him. Eventually they will perfect it but again... the design is not a hard cut off like ...

Legally the carrier cannot do a hard stop on preventing use after the limit is reached. If your kids had an emergency after 300 mins was reached and couldn't call. Who would be responsible. Unfortunately wireless carriers can't take the roll of parent. This is usually a disclaimer with Usage Controls, Chaperone, etc. After 300 mins is reached, your phone is to alert you with a text... then it's up to you want you want to do.

The main site, VZW.com, contains both secure and unsecure scripting. Since part of the site is unsecure, i.e. the Phone catalog, plans, feature, support pages, about us, etc... it will not show the lock icon until after your sign in or if you select a sign in only type page.

The GSM radios are still unknown at this point. Verizon is starting to offer phone like the I770 and the Q9 Napoleon in CDMA and Quad-band GSM (US and Abroad) but it could be like the 8830 CDMA only in the N.America and GSM abroad. The original report is Thunder is a lifetime exclusive with Verizon/Vodafone but it's not to say that other touchscreen qwerty or slide out qwerty cannot come to other carriers so day.

We used to have policies that updated daily but they decided to do away with that database. Now it's intergrated into the main intranet which is updated constantly, moving links, add sub-catergory after sub-catergory and a search engine that brings up 50 responses with a 2 line paragraph that describe what you are looking for but no real info on it or where to find it. It's a really cruel game of hide and seek.
