Does anyone know what VZW corporate sales associates of assistant manager start out at?

that is all that has been in today. weather it is for a battery or complain about service or ask to combine their home bill with wireless to try to get disounts. man i hate mondays. my office reaks of febreze. 😡

So... how bloody annoying is it when you arent open yet but people seem to think that knocking on the glass and peering in the window is the correct way to get in... its not... wait until your phones clock matches the time written on the door... pretty simple huh?

just me and the other lead working today... he went to go gather food... so i was here alone... holding down the fort... i go out to smoke... the cost being clear when i step outside but as soon as i go to lock the door a guy comes around the corner...

"hey man need to pay me bill."

hmm... wouldnt that be novel... say everyone did switch... and actually paid 600 or 800 + deposit for a iPhone... it would be like a whole month with no customers... a vacation... until evereyone realized that its not broadband... or that once theirs broke theres no warentee or insurance option so they have to drop another half g on a new one...

so it would work out that we both get a 1 month vacation...

Does bitching and complaining about what a terrible time you've had on the phone with a company actually help when you get to a new rep who has until that point had nothing to do with the process?

It sure as heck doesn't help when you do it to me, if anything else I loose all sympathy for you right off the bat because none of this is my fault. If you come in and try and be positive and sweet I will bend over backward (I did too, for a gal yesterday, I went to my sup and then a couple of other sups trying to get them to approve waived shipping because of how nice she was... and I had looked at her order history, she'd been through the wringer already. My manager told me yesterday that he was coming in today, this morning he said he wasn't. I had to rush around getting ready (still drunk) and now I am sitting at work feeling like a hot bag of a$$ and looking like 2 hot bags of a$$. The reason he didn't make it in today? ... because he's got a hangover. So I need to pull a prank on him since he opens tomorrow, any ideas? 😈

so, we have weekly conference calls.

This week, our rep had a segment on iPhone objections. One of hers was "did you know that the iPhone's battery only lasts 8 hours?"

That came from VZ internal documentation PRIOR to the updates recently. I asked her to clarify what she meant by "8 hours" and she couldn't tell me. her answer was something to the effect of "internal blah blah don't know more blah blah not a good phone, blah blah."

I agree that the iPhone does have flaws. It wasn't made by God (sorry, Apple fans) but it's still a great product, and the if the specs are even partially accurate, that's fantastic.

I just wish the person TRAINING US in overcoming objections would actuall...

I really hate it when people come in an say that Sprint sucks because they turned my phone off for 1.00. Hey idiot it is not for 1.00 it is for 150.01. If you would pay the stupid bill when it is due then you would not have that problem. It has nothing to do with sprints service but your own ignorance.

Why do people think it is acceptable to lean over the desk and look at my computer.

I'm not going to let you look at the account info as I'm asking you to verify it; I'm not going to let you see that big pop up message that says what a complete jerk you are that customer care left for me to read. 👿

My favorite thing to do is slowly turn the screen away until they get the hint.

This guy didn't....eventually had to interrupt what he was saying and lean over and turn off the monitor...I think he got the point after that...

I've had 3 customers today who came in and expected me to just forget the about person sitting at my desk and jump to serve THEM!

A$$hole #1: I was almost done putting PP time on a phone and the guy walks in the door. I greeted him the second he walked in the door and said I would be with him as soon as I finished PRINTING THE RECEIPT for the customer at the desk. He said "Fark this. I don't have time to wait for this Bullspit" and turned around to walk out.

A$$hole #2: There were 2 customers in the store. I was almost done with one of them and the other customer just needed to do an ESN change and PB transfer. This old guy comes waltzing through the door complaining about his 5 year old phone not working and VZW service sucki...

So guy comes in with a tracphone and an Oxygen wireless prpaid time card. He is asking me how to get the time from the card on to his tracphone. 🙄

I explain that I don't know but doubt he could. So he then asks me how to get the money back for his Oxygen Prepaid time card. Of course I have no idea on that either. 😕

i know your probably busy, with those two kids and work and video games and all. so i can understand your rush in the mornings to get ready for the day. but if no one has ever told you before, a shower is pretty much essential. if you start taking showers in the morning, i think you will find that it has several benefits. one being that you don't smell like cheese all day.

yes, i understand that you can't smell the cheese yourself, but that's only because you smell it all the time, and just don't notice it anymore. i assure you... EVERYONE around you can smell it. also, you'll find that it helps you wake up in the morning. i, for instance, find taking a shower in the morning rather therapudic. for a few reasons;

Why is it that people feel compelled to tell you their life story when they come in? It most prevalent when it involves their inability to pay bills or dispute some sort of charge that you know as an employee of the company is probably 100% accurate as you have heard this same story 100 times from 75 people (some jerks try to use the same excuse twice).

The worst of the group are recent divorcees. They love to tell you how the wife is a whore and is trying to take all their assets or their husband is a prick and he beats the kids or some shi+.

The second worst group are the druggies. If you weren't all high or drunk all the time you wouldn't have lost your job, and spent the last of your money on something you put up your nose or in...
