W760 issue

A customer had come back into the store and was told by CS that his had a hardware issue and it should be replaced. The issue was this; any photo that he would click on while browsing on MediaNet would lose its quality and look almost like a negative, upon being enlarged. As anyone else heard of this or know how it can be avoided?

So this guy came in

with his grandson. The grandson was setting up a new contract but has had our company before. Grandpa is paying for the deposit and the phone. He hands me an American Express and I politely ask him if he has any other cards he'd like to use because we do not take american express.

this weird, awkward old man flips out and starts mumbling something, but very loudly. The only way i can describe it is imagine an old man just screaming nonsense. The only thing i got out of the whole thing was "well, what the hell, who doesn't take american express, i don't have any other cards!" (wallet was full of credit/debit cards???) He pulls out another card 😲 and as i'm processing it I hear him start to mumble again and this time he says "I'll tell ...

"I'm going to use that same line, but with 'phone' instead."

Back again....

with the night shift today....i hope its better than yesterday with my one sale... even though i sold a BB bold, with the Data/ tethering plan, with a Bluetooth, car charger, skin cover, 2GB memory card, and holster.... that was ALL i did !!!!

Need some big things today.. i'm hungry for that paper!!!!!

Gangstas and stolen ID's= Jail time

Had this happen to me a few years ago when I worked at RadioShack.

Once had a small POS hatch back with 6 people crammed into it sporting MA plates pull up to the front of the store? They parked in the fire lane blocking the entrance of my store and the nail place next door.

They pile out and have the whole were gangsters and drug lord look. This is not a normal look in Southern New Hampshire.

They all come into the store and start looking at the phones. One of the dudes wants his credit run for Verizon. The battered ID he gives me is from New Jersey and is set to expire in a week. While all the time his buddy play with every single thing that makes noise in the store.

One of my other coworkers was running a Store Credit app...

T-mo tech support vs. ATT Warranty Exchange

So...here's the deal...I have another job offer as a tier 2 tech rep with T-mobile. The difference in pay is about $3.00 more per hour for T-mobile, but it's about 30-40 minutes away, where as the job I've got now is only 4 miles away. if anyone works for T-mobile, do they treat their people well? would it be worth the drive to work for them? also, I'm getting pretty bored with the warranty center. it's the same call every time. Any suggestions??

I AM HURRYING!!!

I know we've already covered this many, many, MANY times in this forum, but would someone please remind me what exactly it is that makes people think that if they press me to hurry, it will make me work faster than I already am?

When my system is slow, things take longer. When you're a b!tc# to me, my system instantly becomes slow. The b!tc#!er you are, the longer everything takes...

Trust me, if you aren't buying anything, then all you are doing is wasting my time. If you b!tc# at me, then I will waste yours...

People are weird

There is a child standing outside my store right now with a neon green wrestling mask on, carrying a fake dog in one arm and a bookbag in the other.

This is in a huge mall.. so its not like its private.

lol.. parents, teach your children about not being odd, please.

New company, brand new store...

I finally left Freedom Wireless a couple of weeks ago. Now i'm with a brand new VZW agent in a brand new store that just opened less than a week ago. I'm pretty excited about this.

Anybody else on here work for The Cellular Connection?

I love when a customer comes in and says that they want a Touch Diamond. Not only do they not want to pay for it, but they want all the services that it can offer for no extra monthly costs. After trying to explain to this 'intelligent' customer that we don't just give phones awayand that it would require a plan change, he demands to know why after being a loyal customer of all of two years 😳 👀 😳 he can't get it for free...I mean seriously, the length of his contract was two years, that isn't loyalty that is him signing a contract. Geeze ums. 🙄

A lawsuit against Sprint was given class-action status on Monday after being filed in Kansas in February. The lawsuit alleges that a technical glitch in Sprint's computer system caused some sales to be unreported, thereby cheating retail sales employees out of commissions of US$100 to $500 per month.

Sprint has stated that it is disappointed that the suit received class-action status, and says that it remains committed to ensuring that all employees are paid any commission to which they are entitled. The total damages claimed in the lawsuit are over $5 million.

Cust: This phone doesn't work and its within 30 days so i'm able to return it.

Me: Ok, not a problem (looks at receipt from Brandsmart), where did you get it?

Cust: Brandsmart, Target said they are sold out and said i could just take it anywhere to exchange it.

Me: unfortunately i can't exchange that, its not in our inventory, you would have to take it back to Brandsmart.

Cust: are you kidding me?? They told me i could, this is ridiculous, you know what? Just go ahead and cancel my account, you can do THAT i'm sure.

Me: actually to cancel the account requires return of equipment, so no, i can't do that.
