AT&T cust service...

are u kinding me...

why is that , 80% of the time i call them they can't find/validate my dealer code and agent code...

really... well it hasnt' changed....

Yeah, because that's how it works...

Just had some teenage girl come in all ticked off because she set her bag down somewhere and it got stolen. She came flying through the door screaming that she needed her phone "GPSed" right away so she could catch the guy who took it.

I told her that we couldn't track the phone but she should have the account holder call in ASAP to suspend service.

She continues to scream that she wants a manager because "managers can do whatever you idiots can't". I explained that our manager can't just push magic buttons and locate her phone either.

She couldn't verify anything about the account other than her phone number and being indirect, I can't suspend a line or view the account without some verification. I offered my store phone for...

Grrr Some people's parents!

So I work in a call center helping people activate their phones if they can't work the automated system, and this is story of my latest call:

Cust had 3 lines that she said were activated fine. Ok, so what’s her question? Well, apparently her old sim cards still worked. Hmmm that’s odd, So I verified that her new sim cards were indeed activated and then I put her on hold to talk with Tech spprt (and this is like a 5-6 min hold), they said that it’ll deactivate eventually, and if it hasn’t in 72 hrs to call back.



So I go back to the cust to tell her this info, and she says, “look, see It’s still working because I can still press all the numbers [and she has the button talk on so I can here what butto...

why the Sprint hate???

i am well aware that sprint sucks... but so do most other carriers at one thing or another, thats why the cellular industry is ranked so low for customer service as a whole.

why the Sprint hate? i need more than Sprint sucks. That is un-original, everyone else has said it...

give me reasons, except the fact that you think you look cool for saying that Sprint sucks (because you don't)

i don't bash other carriers, not because i can't, i just choose not to. ..

Impaient customers

It makes me soooo mad when the store is busy and there are customers waiting patiently to be helped. Then you get some rich snobby person that just struts in and comes right up to the front of the line and says something like " oh I just have a question or can i just drop my payment off or can i just pay for this charger" NO YOU CANT WAIT YOUR TURN JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

its tuesday... and their are like, 24 ppl total in the mall today... i am sooooo bored..... i haven't sold anything, i did a credit check, and SUPRIZE SUPRIZE, it was a $$750 deposit...lol so, yeah, i sold nothing.... any cures for boredom out their... something fun to do, aggrivate the mall walkers, or something!

Issues with Wirefly

So black friday, we had a customer come in who wanted to get 3 phones. She insisted that they were free online. I checked on the corporate site, and then she told me it was through wirefly. I told her we cannot honor wirefly pricing and she leaves.

Fast forward to today. Lady comes in all pissed at us because there is an issue porting the numbers over (surprise)

So then she goes on that it is our fault because obviously we have control over another retailer, especially one that operates online exclusively. So we look up her account. To us, everything looks good, according to Verizon everything is ported over. According to her old carrier, the numbers are still waiting to port over.

I told her that there was most likely an iss...

Most phone numbers you've seen in a phone

I had a customer earlier this week come in and I was doing a phone exchange for a defective device. I swapped over his phone book using the Cellebrite machine that we have here in the store. I didn't think PDA devices could hold more than 500 contacts, but I guess I was wrong. His Palm Centro had 2327!!!! 😲 😲

Anyone else see that many?

Let me just say that I was SHOCKED as were my other coworkers in my store.

And it begins....

My manager just got verbally assaulted by our first customer of the day. A lady and her friend come in to our VZW agent store with a Verizon bag full of Palm Centro goodies. She walks up to my manager stating that she bought the Palm Centro online. Remeber it's in a Verizon Bag and she has a store receipt with it. So she claims she bought it online and hates the phone. She wants to trade it in for another phone. My manager politely tells her that unfortunately this is not a corporate location and that we cannont get her a new phone. He then directs her to the closest Direct VZW location. As she walks out the door, she turns and looks at my manager and says "What a F@*%$&@ waste of a store, you guys are F&$^%@* useless. Thanks for the attitud...
