Car Bluetooth

Can someone please explain to me why it's my fault that I don't know off the top of my head every make and model of phone that is compatible with the bluetooth of every make and model of vehicle that is available? 🙄

I know the vehicles have a guide that say that the car is compatible with BT vers 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, etc... but it is my past experience that the version doesn't mean diddily if the phone is too new (or the car too old), or if the stereo isn't stock...

The fact that someone would specifically pick their phone to match their car or even worse, their car to match their phone just blows my mind...buy the phone and car that work best for you, and if they don't play well together, for God's sake, get an external BT speaker fo...

I LOVE calling BS on them

Had a guy at work today come in and ask for his "free Storm". Huh??? 🤨

I told him is wasn't released yet but asked what he like about it. Why not try to sell him something I have now? He pulls out the Pearl and complains about the keyboard. Asked the normal like what do you use the phone for/what features, etc. He said it HAD to be a Blackberry. OK...

I asked if he would like me to check the account for the upgrade date because I KNOW the Pearl hasn't been out for VZW for 20 months, so unless he paid retail when it DID come out, he has no NE2 credit.

He tries the whole "I've had this piece of junk for 2 years so I get a free one now. You don't need to look. I KNOW I'm eligible". I finally get the guy to give me his nu...

He lives...(really figgin long, but i think worth it)

It was getting close to the holiday season, and the at&t kiosk in the mall was doing well. Their business was up and sales were plentiful. They had direct competition from a corporate at&t store in the mall, but aside from being on the other side of the mall, they were respectful of eachother and never said anything bad about the other. They never told customers anything false about eachother, and it was a fair playing field. The store was taken over by a new manager who was very vindictive. He declared that there would be no other at&t retailer in the mall besides him. Soon customers began comming up to the kiosk asking if they sold refurbished phones to customers. People who they had sold less than a week ago were comming back to return th...

Who's responisble?

Here's a question.. I know in our TaC it states the company isn't responsible for any missinformation its employees pass along to the customer and can't be held accountible for issues resulting from this. Also known jokingly as "the right to lie clause" by CC reps were I work. I work third party for attws, so I don't know if any other carriers have this policy. But what I would like to know is this, If the company(s) can put this in thier legally binding agreements then just who is responsible for missinfo? who can be held accountable? I know the cust has to take some initative in knowing what they have but aside from saking questions how are they to know what it is they have and what they can do with it.

Calling all T-mobile Reps>>>THEY EXIST!!

I have a situation that NO ONE has been able to resolve. Hopefully someone on this forum has the knowledge/experience to help.

I have a customer who currently has 5 lines on an account and wants the @home service. Now, to everyone's general knoweldge the only way for them to accomplish this is to move one of the lines onto a new account along with the @home line to fulfill the @home's 39.99 or higher parent plan requirement.

The problem: By making the customer do this, they are not saving money on their home phone because they need to be charged an additional $40 a month just to have something that costs $10 a month.

The solution: Both I and several activation and customer care reps have seen accounts with SIX...count them...SIX li...

Funny....

Lady comes in IRATE 👿 that her cell phone bill was cut off.

Cust: I SWEAR I PAID THAT BILL! I HAVE MY BANK STATEMENT TO PROVE IT AND YOU ARE GONNA TURN MY PHONE OFF FOR NO REASON??!!

Me: I apologize for the inconvienence (sp?), let me take a look at your account. 🤣 🤣 🤣 ... I see you have a past due balance of ten cents, thats why your phone was turned off.

Cust: TEN CENTS??? YOU'RE GONNA SHUT MY PHONE OFF OVER 10 CENTS? (throws a dime at me),

Me: actually ma'am, we have a 5 dollar tranaction fee if you pay with cash.

Credit

Is it me or do more people call in wanting an invalid credit the closer we get to the holidays? I have had several people call in today wanting credit for something they didn’t deserve a credit for.
I had a lady that wanted credit for her international calls because she thought British Columbia was a state and included in her national long distance.

So we all know who The Mobile Solutions is right? And we al know who the Denver Broncos are, right?

From a blog entry on ESPN

"Three practices since late August is all Tatum Bell needed to gain 34 yards on seven carries at Atlanta. Not bad considering that six days earlier, Bell was a manager at Mobile Solutions at the Aurora Mall. The Broncos called him Tuesday morning to come in."

HAHAHAHA Tatum Bell was a manager at TMS?!@!?!?
wtf man, thats hilarious

Yeah, because indirect agents get the latest and greatest BEFORE anyone else

This customer was irate, because he had driven to 6 different stores to see the Blackberry Storm and no one had one. 🤨

I'll be lucky if they let us order it before the first. 😢

probably has been addressed before, but

it bears repeating...
have you ever had a customer at your store/kiosk/whatever who had a body part that should not look as good as it does on a person that age.

What makes that situation even worse, is when that person wears clothes that overly and overtly accentuates that body feature.

The only reason I know this person is too young to have that acctactive of a feature is that the parent said "you are only 15, you are not getting that phone, you don't need it!!!"

👀 😳 😳 😳 😳

I wanted to do things to that!!!

it was the equivalent reaction to showing a guy with a Priapism a picture of Hilary Clinton and watching that thing suffer som serious shrinkage!!!

This is a new one for me (which I didn't think was possible) that definitely tops all others...

Dude comes into the store because his phone isn't working.

Dude is mad because his phone has "died", even though he took "such good care of it! I didn't drop it or nothin'"

Rep grabs phone from dude, and notices that phone is warped (as in, the outer plastic cover is wavy).

Rep asks dude WTF happened to the phone.

Dude says "Oh! Well about three months into owning it, the screen went white, and I found that if I left it on my car's dashboard in the sun, the screen would work again. Well eventually, that stopped helping the issue, so I decided to bake the phone in the oven for about 10 minutes at 450 degrees. That worked once, so I tried it again and it made the outside of the phone look all weird like this and now it doesn't wor...

Affairs...

Do any of you think your boss is having an affair on work time? Raise your hand!

I believe my boss is. She will disappear for a few hours and then show back up in an unusually good mood. She has to travel between a few stores and sometimes she never shows up at the other store. I think there is some hanky panky going on...

Gross.

No mail in rebate on Storm?!? (VZW Indirect)

With new indirect mail in rebates coming out, I don't see the Storm listed... Will online get a mail in rebate, and not indirect??? That would not be good. 😕
