Insane woman (long story)

So at the beginning of the month a lady walks into my kiosk with a phone, this phone she claims was given to her by the police so she could dial 911 and she wanted to set up service on it.

I set her up on a basic plan to get her going, during our interaction she says she has a stalker and thats why she needs a cell phone, at this point I think to myself, "wierd", but I have no reason to not believe this lady.

So about two weeks ago she calls my store and says that someone have gotten into her voicemail and shut it down and she is missing out on life saving voicemails. I run through some basic troubleshooting and come to the conclusion that her voicemail is working just fine.

it's so friggin' slow!!!

i'm doing overtime tonight and we're going 45-60 minnutes in between calls!
i'm really bored now beacuse the only team around me just got on the fly training, si now i'm all alone.

Phone call campaigning...blah

I've gotten about 8 phone calls on my work phone today from real people and automated systems telling me to vote for McCain tomorrow. I know pennsylvania is an important state for the candidates to win but christ, enough with the damn phone calls.

Has anyone else been getting these calls at work? It's pretty annoying.

Don't you hate when you left 1 call center 4 years ago, and you apply at another call center and you

see the same people, who were at the old call center? And thats the reason you left in the first place, because of the staff?

There may be a few running around with certain privileged people. It has NOT been release for sale to the general public yet. I want to pay the minimum...

Customer comes in- "I wanna pay the minimum amount to restore service, how much is it?"

What I WISH I COULD SAY

--It's $xxx.xx
-WHAT!? Why is it that much?

Well, back in June, you got a $300 bill and only paid half of it, you keep carrying that past due balance over and each month you're paying the minumum so your balance is getting larger.
--Well that's BULLS#!+!! What can you do about it?
-Nothing, bills are charges for services rendered, frankly I'm impressed XYZ phone company is still allowing you to have service.
--So you can't do anything at all?
-Well, you''re only willing to pay the minimum amount, so I really only feel obligated to give minimum service. A payment of $xxx.xx would bring you cur...

customer-Yeah umm my blackberry is not working properly. I pay you guys 200 dollars a month. I need you to give me a new one.

employee-Alright lets take a look at your account to see if your under warranty or can upgrade.

customer-I just need a new blackberry.

employee-in order to properly assist you with your problem i will need to access your account to discuss your options with you.

customer-I have had your service before you were probably born! ok my number is 555-555-5555.

employee-(snickers to himself after seeing account) customer the phone you have is 3 years old so is no longer under warranty. you are eligable for an upgrade, lets discuss your options about getting into one of the newest blackberrys.

A little help please... (Samsung Rewards)

I got the latest e-mail from Samsung Rewards about verifying our sales and redeeming my points for the Visa Debit Card. But for some reason my computer wont open the Cover sheet attachment they sent along. If anyone has this, could you please fax me a copy of the cover sheet?

should become a friggin call center

the only customers i've had all day are the ones who are calling in to make a payment or to troubleshoot a problem or to just bitch at me for stuff

the sad thing is i can't sell them anything...

Spending Limits

I work for Sprint, and some of our customers have spending limits on their account that shut their service off if their balance due or overage chrages get too high.

when the only supervisors to ask are the ones that don't know the answers, but you ask away anyway, just to get an "answer from higher above".

for those of you in call centers..

First I should start by saying that I am a hispanic. But still.. it gets very ANNOYING!! and alittle old too.. ANYWHO!
i work at a call center and take english and spanish calls.. when the call comes in it tells you "spanish customer" or "english customer".. It REALLY gets on my nerves when the call comes in as an english cusotmer.. you say your greeting in yes..ENGLISH!! and the cusotmer starts teling you this long ass story in SPANISH!! like if they expect everyone in AMERICA!! to speak spanish!! it really p***es me off!. Like what the hell? ๐Ÿ‘ฟ
sometimes i "pretend" like i dont speak spanish and after they finish their long rant, i say.. "Im sorry, I did not understand you. Do you need a SPANISH cusotmer service representative?" ...
