Ok, here's my rant-

I love working in wireless. I thrive in the midst of all this technology. It excites me so much it puts a twinkle in my eye. He's the problem though, after doing this for 7 years with 3 different companies, I know darn near everything there is to know about cell phones and troubleshooting. Desptie the fact I work in a Svc/Rpr store, I still find myself doing all the customer svc, troubleshooting, and billing issues. Why?? Because I help every customer that walks through the door. It is my job to assist customers. My cohorts have a way of picking and choosing who they want to help. If a customer walks in with a bill in their hand, they get ignored until I step in and help them. It hurts my numbers, bi...

Don't you hate...

When "your" company states.. "We would never hire anyone from outside the company!"

2 days later there's a post for a new manager/sup/coach/lead..

Then BAMN! They hire someone from the "outside"..and your left holding your dick like...????Whhhaaaat???

So ya same bullshit different day..

Surprising Amount of Patience....

I'm on a call, going on 40 minutes... this is going to ruin my calls per hour... and I'm trying to help a Spanish speaking customer correct his settings for picture messaging... I want to die.

moron ported in wrong #

so i was porting in 2 new lines and after i had already hit save, printed out the contract, and started reviewing it, this idiot says wait! i gave you the wrong number!!! I was like are you serious? wow. who does that?? he had given me his ex wifes that was still on the account rather than his.... wonder where his brain was today!!

So yea... awkward...

My boss came in to my store my District Manager... Numbers have been kinda slow the second half of the month... so hes talking about that... and then right before he leaves he goes i need some big days from you TJ!! remember back to the basics! your the big d!ck of swinging cell phones... im like wtf...

So I had this customer

Whos Razor broke and i offered him one for free with a 2 year agreement since he was eligable, however he said why would i sign a contract to get a free phone? Ill just go to verizon and sign a contract and get a free phone so im like "Sir, you just said you wouldnt sign a contract to get a phone but you are if you go to verizon" and hes like "Yea, well i know ways around this system and ill sign a contract and do my time" So im like "Instead of paying the ETF's for your 3 lines since your only UPGRADE ELIGABLE why not stay we are offering you the same thing" and he says...this is where it gets great...."LIES THERE ALLLL LIES COMMUNISSTTTSSSSS AND LIARS IS WHAT YOU ALL ARE!!!" so i say "ummm...*mute button* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *...

Credit 101

The world runs on credit scores its hard to make them go up and down. It takes a long time to fix a low credit score.

Write offs and past dues stay on your credit report from 7-10 years depending on what it is. If you had written off credit cards six years ago it still drags down your credit score. And they still view that written off debt as active money you still owe. So that limits the amount of credit any bank would likely extend to you.

Now even if you got your act together and have been paying on your current bills, cards and loans. Yet you never took any other cr...

Irresponsible management...

So I get a phone call from the nice girl across the mall at the piercing pagoda. My store is closed. I'm supposed to be here at 12:45 usually (it's 11:00 at this point) I fly to the store, no shower or anything (which I hate...I have to be here for 8 hrs..) and I get here, and supposedly, I'm opening. The schedule changed 3 times yesterday, and my manager didn't even make sure that I knew what was up. I thought I was opening on thursday, NOT today. There was a huge fuss, and I don't know what's going to happen to me, or the staff here at my store...it's all bs. Does anyone else have incredibly RETARDED management?

It's going to be one of those days

I just got here and my first customer of the day goes as follows:

M: Hello, what can I do for you today?

C: *walks up to the counter and throws bill at me*

M: Pay a bill?

C: 😳

M: Ok... (I take the envelope and find a check inside.)

Since we don't process check in our store, I can call a number to directly take the payment.

M: Can I have the last four of your social?

C: XXXX

M: Ok, can I have the phone number?

C: 😳 I don't know

M: You have no idea?

C: It's XXX-XXX i know that part

M: Do you have your cell phone with you?

C: No it's at home.

M: Ok, well I can't pull up anything without your cell phone number.

C: 😳

M: Is there anyone you can call to get the number?

C: Yes.

There's a fine line...

...between a good salesperson who looks for every opportunity to sell (and sell what the customer actually needs) and the salesperson who screws the customer for their own benefit, not the benefit of the customer. You know who you are you heartless pigs. 👿

It's been my experience..

...that no matter what you do or say, they won't be happy. They are getting the same phone, they want an upgrade. They are getting a different model, they want the same. Reconditioned is always a mess, Shipping vs. store pickup they always want the opposite, no matter what the issue. you can't win. I'm 26 and getting high blood pressure!!! 😈

....to start the day then having a customer come in asking for a phone. you bring them to it and they shake their head and say you're wrong. thats not the phone
