So... after all this verification nonsense and the new reporting period ended... has anyone heard from samsungrewards yet? It's been 2 months now?

Its amazing how many people don't take responsibility for their own accounts. I had a guy come in today

Me- How can I help you?

Guy- I have that program were it plays music when someone calls.

Me- You mean ringtones?

Guy- No they hear it

Me- Oh you mean callertunes, how can I help you with that?

Guy- It doesn't play the damn song anymore

Me- Well did you turn it off or delete the song?

Guy- No I haven't messed around with it since I got it.

Me- Ok well what it sounds like is that the song expired it you have changed anything.

Guy- WTF so you mean I have been paying for it and its not working?

Me- Well your paying for the service but you need to update the songs every so often

Guy- It should just work

Guy adds caller ID to account..

Calls in a couple of hours later and wants me to "BLOCK his caller ID"...

I didn't think that was possible, I though he wanted me to block private calls coming to him.. 😁

Guess he like to keep himself in suspense as to who's calling... 😳

Does the customer recieve any info back on this and how long does it usually take? Just curious how there policy works.

I could not go out last night because I had to work today.
Had I worked at my normal store, I would have. But noooo I had to work an hour and a half away. At 8am. Who does that!?

I'm currently sipping coffee and playing with my phone. Haven't seen anyone even pull into our parking lot yet. And we are in a strip mall, so NO one has had any customers yet.

This lady was mad that her payment was not applied to her account. She sent a money order with no account # or mobile #. Her response was well I signed my name on it you should be able to apply it to my account.

1. You are not the account owner therefore how are we going to find your account when you are only an authorized user??

2. Your signature- do you think it is legible??

Do any of you guys know how much a retail store manager makes at ATT?

I heard that their base is 35k + commission depending on how much % of sales objectives they meet.

And also, do the salaries differ alot by the size of the store (A,B,C,D)?

Ok so are customers really this stupid i mean come on you have got to be kidding me with this. I just had some hispanics come in that spoke no english besides "no just looking" ok whatever cool. well im with another guest and i look over to them messing with the accessories, which are on locking peg hooks that have to be unlocked with a key that i have, and they are opening one of the accessories and just taking it out of the package to see if it will work for their phone.

i mean really if something will not come off after like 5 minutes of messing with it then why would you open it up and take it out!!

Today is my last day as a manager for an AT&T agent! I love my bosses and my job, but I've got a way better opportunity going over to AT&T Corporate side, so I start training Monday in Raleigh NC. Woop! Wish me luck everyone!

What makes them think if they cannot get what they want with me that my manager will give it to them? I'm doing everything by the book and nothing different but they are unhappy. So they want a manager. Well they come out and say the same thing. Then the cutomer is furious and wants to go higher?

People are such big babies. Everyone wants to be spoon fed. I swear...seriously. So much for quitting smoking.

Just wondering for a "billion dollar global" company to have such a crappy automated system?

A little background first: Regular Pre-Paid skank who's had pre-paid forever and checks monthly to see if her deposit has gone down so she can get a contract. She brings her daughter in sometimes and always lets her run around doing whatever she wants. One time this poor little girl played in the toilet for probably close to 10 minutes before mommy realized what was going on b/c she's so cracked out.

We have a sign out front and today we decided to advertise our pre-paid services. The sign reads:
No Contract
No Deposit
Free Incoming Calls

She comes in and says

"um... yeah, had a question real quick. Ya'lls sign out there says no deposit and I wanted to know what that was"

I say

"It's for Pre-Paid"

She says

"ohhhhhhhh ...
